I’m in Asia and since January our country did the lockdown for 3 month,and the schools was the first to close….was very hard but necessary our kids did the zoom class… we teach them way ,and all follow,because our govement care about us…since the end of April we don’t have the virus ,our life is back to normal…..only in September the kindergarten reopen,because was safe….is so ridiculous way american can’t do the same…..

@gwsjr1 It saddens me that you take this so lightly. When people were first told to wear a mask, they were told that this was not only to protect yourself, but, more importantly, you must wear the mask to protect other people from getting the virus from yourself.
Globally, about 3.4% of reported CoVid cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected.
More than 3 time more people die from CoVid than the flu. That is no small number.
CoVid is a new virus and no one has built up immunities to this virus, unlike the immunities that we have built up over the years to the flu.
People are getting reinfected from the Covid because the body is not making the antibodies needed to reject the virus. The body makes antibodies to reject seasonal flu.
Unlike the seasonal flu, which normally goes away without lasting problems, CoVid is causing permanent injuries to people. To date a lot of these injuries to the body have not healed and show no progressive healing.
Please be careful. This Covid is not just like the seasonal flu or cold virus. In the USA, CoVid has mutated twice into a worse form of the virus. It’s killing people from every age group, while most of the rest of the world, the virus affects mostly the young and old people with health problems. In the US a much higher percentage of healthy people are passing away.
Please do some more research into this disease. Your life really is in danger.
