No new COVID-19 deaths in New York City for first time since March

For the first time since the pandemic began, New York City officials have reported zero new COVID-19-related deaths in the span of 24 hours.

  1. Now if Florida, Arizona and Texas will only start taking the measures to control the virus like New York did rather than insisting on keeping everything open and ignoring safety recommendations.

    1. What do you mean measures taken by New York? The NY governor sent patients to caring homes that resulted in a large number of deaths in those facilities. At the earlier stage, New York and New Jersey contributed to over half of case number and deaths in the states. They have low death numbers recently because a lot in the vulnerable were already gone.

  2. I hope that New York stays like that with zero deaths. I have not have any deaths from COVID-19 where I live in Ottawa, Canada for over two weeks. There 263 deaths from COViD-19 where I live. Most of the deaths where I live were in the senior residences.
