    1. The point is you can still carry & transmit the disease. In fact, like ANY OTHER vaccination, you may still get the virus but the vaccination prevents death and in most cases hospitalization for you. But if everyone develops your attitude & doesn’t get immunized, that puts everyone at risk & the covid virus won’t ever get under control.

For example, when you were a wee brat & got immunized for measles. You could potentially still get measles now but it would be a much milder case. Even if you are exposed to a case of measles and tho you have been immunized, you are less likely to transmit the disease. However you can still transmit the disease to another who has not been immunized including those who cannot get immunized, those too young to be immunized & of course those who don’t bother to get vaccinated thereby preventing the luxury we all want to have against all of the diseases we have been vaccinated against & that is herd immunity.

Keep in mind, u have been immunized against 14 severe childhood diseases. If you travel to many parts of the world you need vaccinations where there are other serious diseases. Every year you have the flu vaccine. You need boosters of vaccinations for various risk factors like tdap if u were not boostered as a teen against pertussis, or the TD shot if u r becoming pregnant to protect against tetanus and diphtheria. Don’t forget your shingles vaccine if you are 50+. And of course the pneumococcal conjugate vaccine for protection from pneumonia for those 65+ and pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine which protects against serious pneumococcal meningitis & bloodstream infections recommended for adults 65+ or those with immune compromised conditions. So while you can go without all these, you take your chances. And if you are immunocompromised and cannot take the vaccine then you’d better hope everyone around u gets the shots for YOUR protection. No worries tho, your death certificate probably won’t say covid, there is a new condition call D.A. that would probably encompass your lack of understanding, awareness or caring. You wouldn’t be the first to be diagnosed with it & sadly not the last. But hey, check with your doc to see if you are at risk for pertussis or diphtheria…would be a shame if you died from that and they called it covid right?

    2. @Louis Tully 😒 Seriously? Yes! The vaccination is against the COVID-19 main variant. It does not guarantee that you cannot get it, but it makes it so that you do not get severely sick and/or die from COVID-19. Therefore, you can still get it and be asymptomatic and spread the virus. Also, there are other variants/mutations that we know are in multiple countries now. The masks help to stop the spread of all of these. The more we let the virus spread, the more chances it has to mutate more. This has been proven over the last year.

Of course, there have been masks used to stop the spread of bacteria for years and decades, as they are used by surgeons, dentists/oral surgeons, and other people that deal with people’s bodily fluids and bacteria. To Understand we, you simply have to be open minded to the information from many many scientists, not just the American ones, but the ones around the world. On the other hand, if you don’t want to believe things that we have known for years, then that’s too bad. You will be putting yourself and others in danger. It should be pretty easy to understand, though. If you want to listen to politicians try to change facts to conspiracy, then you have a problem and are part of the problem. Please learn about it!

The non-partisan CDC has existed for so long, and it is there to help us. As they learn more, they share it. They are transparent and want to help us to be safe. There are people trying to politicize the CDC and it is detrimental to this nation. Ignorance is NOT bliss, when it comes to COVID, it’s deadly. In jus the U.S. there’s 567,000 deaths and counting! 😔 This is not a joke or a drill!😠

  1. Imagine if everyone in the world was as caring and compassionate as NP Kahn. We need more people like him in the world.

  2. Why? Because it’s important and it’s needed. Thank you, sir, for doing what needs to be done to protect people like me who are homebound. I’m lucky enough that I can get out occassionally and have gotten my vaccine and I’ve taken the three elderly people in my life as well but it’s comforting to know that there are people who are making every attempt to get everyone vaccinated and that no vaccines are wasted.

  3. Thank you to all who are making strides to get everyone vaccinated! It is much appreciated! True heroes.

  4. RIGHT ON ! Good for him!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

  5. “Nurse Practitioner Rushes To (Covid) Vaccinate Those Homebound Before Doses Expire” thereby motivating us, the people of America, to redouble our efforts to rapidly find out at any given moment, including even while On-Line, who among us are unwittingly contagious (i.e. pre-symptomatic or asymptomatic) in order to “Convince It Forward” for them to call their doctor and to self-quarantine per CDC guidelines in hopes of stopping this pandemic instead of having more “Mourning In America.” Thus, we’re hoping for the best while preparing for the worse-case scenario of the “UK variant” strain(s) mutations and others like the South African, Brazilian, Californian & “Cluster 5 Mink” mutations rendering current vaccines no longer effective.
