@MB Trump that’s like saying that it’s the passenger’s fault the cat crashed because the driver let go of the wheel. Trump *should* have been involved in the COVID response, but he chose not to step up and be a leader when that was what the nation needed. Just because Trump was an absentee president doesn’t mean that he can blame others for not filling the shoes he left unfilled. Whether Trump liked it or not, COVID was ravaging America, the place that he is the president of. He’s not just the president of Republicans, he’s the president of all Americans, but he doesn’t act like it.

@MB Trump Fox is not news, it’s conservative propaganda. Furthermore, the swine flu epidemic is what prompted Obama to set up an infectious disease task force, which Trump got rid of almost immediately. If Trump weren’t so fixated on undoing everything that Obama did then maybe this whole COVID mess wouldn’t have been so bad. It might’ve even been over by now if not for Trump getting rid of the precautions that Obama put in place in anticipation of future outbreaks of disease.
