@Gregory Malchuk – Peaceful protesters don’t mind peaceful police in the first place. Hell, some of these crowds have been joined by the boys/girls in blue. What’s unacceptable is shooting tear gas into a crowd you can’t confirm are all “violent rioters”. When you incite violence, you invite it to breed.
And you’re still stuck on the “he was a violent criminal” schitck. It’s my fault. It’s your fault. It’s societies fault in general. Criminals are just born that way, they are raised into it. Society itself reinforces that by things like sending people to prison instead of sending them to rehabilitation. One makes them repeat their offenses (jail), the other helps put them back into a place on contributing to society.
I don’t condone violence and I don’t approve of crimes, and that goes both ways. If those officers intended to do that, they should be able to handle it themselves.
