@H H 1 was done in broad daylight and had witnesses. The other at night with no witnesses other than the 2 cops on the scene. See any difference?

@H H No body cam needed in this situation, the whole world saw it as it happened. If body cam caught the other incident, I’m sure the video had to be seen/investigated before a decision was made. Either way there’s no excuse for killing unarmed citizens.

He’s been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter.
It won’t end until the other 3 cop’s that stood there and watched are taken in and all are charged according

@Harzburgitic Exactly. The media reports the things that happen. And unless it’s an “opinion” piece, they are supposed to do it as objectively as possible. They can say it sure APPEARS that this cop’s actions led to George Floyd’s death (which it does) but they can’t call the cop a murderer. Not yet. Although since he has now been officially charged, they can call him an “alleged” murderer.

I don’t understand how the officer’s unauthorized and unnecessary lethal force, and his blatant disregard for Mr. Floyd’s life as he cried for help is considered “unintentional”. But in the end I hope justice is served without bias.

S EE not to debate semantics but in this case- i agree/disagree with you, bc justice in this case would mean him getting convicted of murder and being locked up for a LONG long time and hopefully, not getting to even live out that sentence bc he gets some prison yard justice, the exact same brand he served to George Floyd himself- he should get his own neck stomped on. So, i do think he deserves “justice”- but not mercy* which I think is what you meant here. No he had none for George and it was a GROSS abuse of his power that he never shouldve been given in the first place there is zero justification for what he did. None. Period.
American Dude0520 Third degree murder is only used in Minnesota, Florida, and Pennsylvania. I don’t know exactly what it is but it has something to do with abuse of power and unintentionally killing someone with unnecessary violence.
