Local officials provide update on the ongoing search and rescue effort after a collapse of a building near Miami. More than 150 are still unaccounted for.

this could have been prevented. These bastards who knew that the building is unsafe, are liable.
They knew 3 years ago it would cost $15 million to repair. That’s like a $130k assessment for each unit. They dragged their feet and well this was the outcome. Wait till Airbnb and VRBO start getting sued! This will be years of litigation back and forth. The main blame is on the city for letting them get away with it this long.

Its a shame rescuers didnt dig in the complete debris field until the remaining tower was knocked down..Precious lives were very likely Lost due to the fatal delay.
They were dead instantly or shortly thereafter from internal bleeding and crush syndrome. Don’t kid yourself.
