    1. Congrats and thank you. I’m now fully immunized with nothing but a sore arm after my second shot (Pfizer).

    2. @Diana Diana That’s my understanding of #2. I’m planning for some downtime. I should probably get some stuff cooked that can be merely reheated as I may not be up to my typical kitchen gymnastics.

  1. I’m going to be fully vaccinated tomorrow! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁. *BUT* will continue to follow CDC guidelines!!!

    1. Great. Even if vaccination conferred perfect immunity, it’s still important to provide a good example to others. In some places, it is a well justified legal requirement.

    2. @R S What do you get from trolling? Seriously. And even if not, their advice is the exact same as that of every other government and health agency around the world, where all the data has shown how bloody right the advice is about masks, washing hands, social distance, and above all, getting vaccinated. So, again, why are you trolling?

Edit: I’ve looked at your recent posts, as you ramble about Communists and Leftists, and Dr Fauci conspiracy theories. So, you really Are just a troll, and a bad person. No need to reply, your words have no value, or integrity.

    1. Do you mean you’re getting #2 on the 18th, or do you mean the 18th is two weeks from receiving #2? (Assuming Pfizer or Moderna)

  2. as one of those vaccinated adults now vaccinated with lots of vaccinated friends we are ready to rock and roll …

  3. Get this done and move on infrastructure. Get the economy back up and running. Nothing beats success. RepubliKKKlan culture wars will make less and less sense as PEOPLE start winning again.

  4. they are worried about the varients that are out there now and the high chance of continued mutations and what might be coming down the pipe line anytime anywhere …

  5. I had my first shot yesterday they’re giving the Phizer vaccines no noticable side effects at least not yet.

    1. I got the Pfizer yesterday too. I got all the side effects, chills, fever, joint pain, pain at injection site, and extreme fatigue. I don’t care. I can’t wait to get the second dose.

    2. @Deborah Freedman Thanks for saying so. My best friend nearly died of Covid last spring. He was on a respirator for weeks. Having the symptoms of a bad flu is NOTHING compared to the alternative.

    3. @mike briganti Name calling a person that has improved their chance for a long life, and contributed to public health is nasty. Why do you act like that? It does not change minds, it demonstrates your willingness to hate random people. That’s very sad. I don’t believe your thinking will enable you to form good friendships or a relationship with a partner.

  6. After you get the vaccine you can register with CDC that you took it they’ll keep in touch with you about how you’re doing any side effects and use that info to help them.

    1. @mike briganti Your choice. Nazis gave no choice. Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day. A database of vaccine side effects will help to make the booster shots better. (As a biologist, I anticipate that the variants will require a booster shot, like the flu shot. But you are not required to get either, or report side effects. Comparing a side effect database to Nazis requiring Jews and other groups of people to register and wear insignia is a tad overboard, don’t you think? Do you know how the insignia were used to control people before they were rounded up? A horrible history, but absolute necessity to learn.

    2. @JD D It depends with some companies here they do force you to get the vaccine like Amazon their employees are forced to get it.

    1. The poke in the arm wasn’t much, but I felt as if someone had slugged me hard in the tricep for about two days.

  7. The result of an ethical, responsible and highly experienced administration who knew what needed to be done and led by example. A disgrace that so many died unnecessarily due to previous maladministration.

  8. I got my first shot on March 24th, second one is scheduled for April 14th. I had no side effects, do very well. There one thing that needs to be said. Yearly people get flu shots so the don’t get sick or die. The flu is a virus just like Covid. So for all of you that say you won’t get the shot, but get a flu shot annually, please explain why you are willing to protect yourself from one virus but not another?
