Ont. woman mugged and hospitalized in U.S. now stuck with $100,000 in medical bills

A Sudbury woman incurred $100,000 in medical bills during a trip to the U.S. despite having travel insurance. Dana Roberts reports.

    1. Did you watch the piece? It said she did have travel insurance but because of the injuries sustained during the mugging she was forced to stay longer than anticipated and therefore longer than her travel insurance covered for, and since everything of hers war taken she couldn’t extend her coverage. Sounds more like an insurance agency being greedy than anything else
