    1. @Tidbit Physicians knew how addictive it was as they prescribed oxycontin. My oncologist prescribed it for me. (I used cannabis instead, despite my doctor’s refusal to give me a card.) Right after I finished chemo, surgery and radiation, a whole bunch of brochures for addiction treatment showed up in my mailbox. Blame the medical establishment which will not let their doctors give patients medical marijuana cards, in states where it is legal. Even with how difficult it is to get a card, in states with medical marijuana, there is much less problem with opiate addiction. Don’t blame the manufacturer, blame the pushers.

    2. snoop alert Now I know you’re a Russian troll! You don’t even care about democracy! Stop pretending to be an American, and do try to educate yourself – moron!

  1. Sackler should visit all the ‘victims’ and offer them a handful of Oxy’s if they agree to sign a contract
promising not to sue in the future.

  2. Everyone agrees that the family that took everything from some families , should be forced to leave everything on the table on their way out of corporate existence.

  3. Uhm…if the Sackler family truly felt bad…they would convert the trust to a NON-PROFIT. Tens of thousands people died.

  4. Corporate drug dealing kills people, Joe Citizen smoked some marijuana, Joe Citizen goes to prison while the corporate drug dealers make billions in profits, typical of America.

  5. What do you mean lawsuit??? Is there really not enough evidence to bring criminal charges? Is this just another example of money being above the law? Is America great again?

  6. Accountability, personal responsibility isn’t this what Conservative America always say to the lower class and poor. First of all let all the States get together and sue this family for every Dollar they own. Your houses, now it’s the States. Your boats, now they’re ours. Everything they own. Even the Collage funds. And then prosecute everyone of them involved in the drug cartel because that’s what they are..
