Canada here…we’re comfortable and fairly safe. We have health care for all, and our government treated the pandemic as a human problem and all parties got together to help us out with $2K per month, plus another $500 for each child, so we can eat while we stay home. They agreed to pay everyone who applied, on the understanding that they would repay it when they file this year’s income tax, if they aren’t entitled. Government is paying danger pay to top up salaries for essential workers and providing free emergency day care centres for their children. We already felt sorry for you people during this trouble, and now that your cities are in flames, we are literally weeping for you. Stay home. Stay safe. Remember, this, too, shall pass.
