The jury selection process begins Monday in the sentencing trial for Cruz, who faces the death penalty after pleading guilty to 17 counts of first-degree murder in October.

There is a good reason for the death penalty
And each state needs to choose for themselves

@NeeNee B. It is documented that minorities, poor, and uneducated people are more likely to be given the death penalty.
There is also the problem of people lying. There is also the problem of law enforcement planting evidence. There is also the probability of evidence that could prove a person’s innoccences; not being given to the lawyers.
Life in prison without parole.
