  1. The virus attacks the brain, too? No wonder Dumpy’s immune.

  2. What a job.
    Gives me the shivers.
I really respect people that can be that objective and comfortable with it.

Good. Then I hope you’ll respect me. I’m a fairly well established Environmental Health Scientist. The MR on this was always .04%. It was never going to go above that due to the nature of the virus. It simply isn’t equipped to do more. It never could. Most scientists wouldn’t say that if you knew their name, because they’re afraid of being sued. Rightly so. We are the new lawyers. Lawyers are so 1750.

Crom the Wise dude call your doctor and get on some meds. You made no sense.

    • Crom the Wise | July 8, 2020 at 9:28 PM | Reply

@Serenity Now I post numbers, you say I have a mental illness. Okay then.

  3. 60,000 and rising, new infections today of the virus in the US. It is way out of control & getting worse

    • Crom the Wise | July 8, 2020 at 9:29 PM | Reply

@OSKA Proof? CDC disagrees. They’re about to take the US off the epidemic list.

    • @Andrew S not weird at all. Deaths trail infections by about a month. There was declining infections a month ago, your seeing the decline of deaths from the dip. The deaths from this surge will hit in about a month or so.

    • @Crom the Wise The fear has not subsided…Go ask other countries if they want to accept US citizens to visit & travel around their countries…No, stay away until the US controls their fukin problem, which doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon. The ‘VIRUS’ rules, & Trump keeps playing golf.

    • Crom the Wise | July 8, 2020 at 10:02 PM | Reply

@OSKA I’ve said what I needed to say. Accept it or don’t. I’m going to watch some Downton and take a walk. I won’t fall prey to your twisted world of fear and paranoia.

    • @Crom the Wise That’s OK by me. but if can’t handle reality don’t provide information that will leave people thinking that everything is OK. Canada & Mexico have just tightened up their borders to make it even harder for US citizens to get in. Everything’s A OK I guess, enjoy your walk

Well u have plenty bodies to work on in the USA, trump to blame

    • Brooklynn52 Dee | July 8, 2020 at 8:28 PM | Reply

Steven McKenna How do you blame Trump? People have free will for the most part anyway. Wear your mask, gloves, sanitize, don’t eat out, stay away from others and on and on. It’s Trumps fault? How old are you? Eight?

    • Francesco De mattia | July 8, 2020 at 8:31 PM | Reply

Steven take responsibility stop blaming other bit just shows that you’re victim in real life

Thank you, Doctor, for your very important – and, incidentally, potentially dangerous work. May your search for answers have great success.

@sal been Not according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ! Put up or shut up!

    • According to the latest immunological and serological studies, the overall lethality of Covid-19 (IFR) is about 0.1% and thus in the range of a strong seasonal influenza (flu).

In countries like the US, the UK, and also Sweden (without a lockdown), overall mortality since the beginning of the year is in the range of a strong influenza season; in countries like Germany, Austria and Switzerland, overall mortality is in the range of a mild influenza season.

Even in global “hotspots”, the risk of death for the general population of school and working age is typically in the range of a daily car ride to work. The risk was initially overestimated because many people with only mild or no symptoms were not taken into account.

Up to 80% of all test-positive persons remain symptom-free. Even among 70-79 year olds, about 60% remain symptom-free. Over 95% of all persons develop at most moderate symptoms.

    • @sal been you’re the “poorly educated,” right?

You had me at small strokes. Even a small stroke is worth avoiding. They sometimes have a sequel with a bigger budget.
This thing seems to be getting worse, the more we find out about it.
Nr 45 will soon tell you to stop your research and autopsies, because he doesn’t like what it’s doing to his numbers. He’ll just have someone pull your funding and fire you.
Don’t think I’m joking. Dead serious.
You re-elect this monster, that’s what will happen. And worse.

  8. Just more evidence that COVID-19 attacks the 1-Beta chain of hemoglobin and captures the porphyrin to inhibit human heme metabolism.

  9. Laurie Holdt | July 8, 2020 at 7:57 PM | Reply

We are totally screwed! As long there are selfish people being irresponsible there is no way out of this!!! We are on our own!!

  10. Justin Shim | July 8, 2020 at 7:58 PM | Reply

This proves that even if you survive COVID-19, you might have permanent long-term damage to multiple organs.

    It ain’t the flu.

61,000 in one day that’s another record for the Fake News President.

    • Record testing?

    • errgsd I see you drank the propaganda

    • Jack Soxman It called a statistic buddy. Not a conspiracy theory.
Gives the public a guide to know what’s going on.
Would you propose the Nation just throw out all public information.
      Don’t tell citizens anything ?

    • @Jack Soxman Yeah, Covid is no big deal. I went to see some COVID19 positive friends and am perfectly fine. It’s nothing, you oughta try it. Bring your kids, friends and elderly relatives too. MSM lies all the time.

    • Jack Soxman Hadn’t noticed that the virus only chooses Republican ? That sounds like Fake News. What’s the source.

The worldometer tracks daily or the “ current cases “ your asking about, and also totals and other graphs and statistical modelings.
Apparently it’s reliable. All the news groups use it for their broadcasts.

  15. t’rump is going to cut funding for schools if they don’t reopen fully by the fall.
Meanwhile, we’re still losing hundreds of people per day and over half the states are having record highs in cases.
It’s almost as if t’rump doesn’t care how many children and their families die in service of his unlikely re-election. 🤔

But tRumPutin called it a hoax remember and would magically disappear. The COVID-19 is dangious.

We are all Americans, let’s protect ourselves and our fellow citizens and wear a mask.

    • D.M.A. hey bot…

    • @Charles Perkins
The people who are fine are not the ones we are talking about, are they? We are talking about the ones who DID die, as well as the survivors with permanent lung damage. Whoever told you this is “just like the flu” was simply lying

    • Charles Perkins | July 8, 2020 at 10:28 PM | Reply

@Jock Young watch the video i put above me to find out the meaning of a covid death

    • J . P Goodwin | July 8, 2020 at 10:28 PM | Reply

@Charles Perkins Even if the symptoms are minor or there are none, dna/rna damage still happens and cells in organs and and the neurological structure are affected and will cause health issues over the coming years.
Infected children can show no symptoms for many months and possibly years until it hits and can be crippled for life or dead

  18. We need to study the living who supposedly recovered from COVID. We know they have lung damage, even the so-called asymptomatic. Do they also have kidney, heart, liver, and/or brain damage? What else?

  19. Fred Thompson | July 8, 2020 at 9:20 PM | Reply

    Well, that was terrifying.

  20. tRump is gonna ban or block doctors from doing autopsies on COVID death patients. Just guessing.
