  1. It’s being reported that the White House staff finally sat Trump down for an intervention. They  explained to him that magic isn’t actually a real thing. And the coronavirus was not going to just disappear. Trump wept…..😔😭

  2. Since when do Congressmen have to wait to see if something’s okay with the president, any president, before they vote on it? Congress is supposed to be an independent body with members who vote their consciences, not a bunch of spineless toadies who won’t do anything unless some big orange lying creep in the oval office says it’s okay. Republicans have sold their spines and their souls to the devil.

    1. @imiss torontoBut it is a vote that has to go through and not vetoed by IMPEACHED imbecilic paedophile trump aka individual 1, no time to waste.

    2. Well they usually like to know if they’re going to get something through or if they have to tweak something. Theres a lot of bargaining in the process.

    1. And don’t forget courage.  Despite being in a Trump-leaning district, she did her constitutional duty and voted to impeach the clown.  I was so proud of her I immediately sent her campaign donations, and will do so again before November.  I wish she were my congressperson, but she’s next door (in 8th).

    2. I’m not a Democrat (Independent), but I’m still proud of her.  It’s easy to be cynical about our reps, and rightly criticize their craven partisanship and cowardice, so when one of them demonstrates integrity and courage, we should reward and encourage them!

  3. This is most certainly on Trumps shoulders. Demon. “Republicans” do not care and choose to support the lying, ignorant, traitor Trump. Trump is not a leader. He is not capable.

    1. Well people don’t really understand how things work so it’s easy to fool them. Trump uses Fox News to report certain things and tells people he’s doing this and that and they believe him. They don’t know how the sausage is made – you could tell them anything.

    2. Kitt Songstad .. We The People, the taxpayers or who still hope to be , need to take cues & clues from people with an MD after their names. This pandemic is now shining a spotlight on our healthcare system-the one we pay so dearly for. Like Dr. Fauci said, ‘our system is not really geared for this’ does it need to be, yes, but it’s not and that is a failing.’ His words to Congress. He was candid with the statement like ‘Let’s admit it.’The CDC-the govt agency tasked with such things seems woefully inept as well-my assessment- which stems from the way healthcare professionals met the first cruise ship ‘the Diamond Princess’ with little protective gear. Where those same healthcare professionals landed after they met passengers, who were sent to quarantine, was probably the start of ‘community spread’. Seems pretty clear to me.

  4. Since when does congress need to check with the president before a vote. This is movement toward a fascist Trump regime. Vote Them Out.

    1. @Judith Aldridge Yes Judith ….Really it heartbreaking …..There say things the can’t not accomplish ,There are all bunch of liars…..

    2. @frank friedrich There are some good people in Congress but the Republican and Democratic Parties are corrupt.
I fully support Bernie and having looked at independants costings of his policies that they say are payable. Medicare For All actually cuts health spending by $450,000,000,000 a year. Of course Taxes will be raised on earnings over $29,000 a year, which means a middle class person earning $60,000 a year and who now pays £14,000 a year in Premiums (A private tax) will see their tax raised by $1,240 a year. I do not trust Goivernment to run health services but Medicare for All will not be run by Government. The job of Government will be to ensure charges are kept reasonable, ensure every person gets the healthcare they need and to pay for the healthcare that you get. Prescription charges will be cut to $200 a year maximum and that cost comes out of the Medicare Tax. However as it is the government who is the sole payer, it can ensure that it only pays the same as in other countries. Currently for the price of one months insuline in the States, you get ten months supply of insulin in Canada. I am currently in England but my drugs in NYC would cost me over $500,000 a year, whereas in England because I paid into the system when nursing here and in legal practice here, I pay nothing for my drugs.
I came to the conclusion that you have to work outside of the States to see how awful the healthcare system is in the states, the present is a good example. The WHO rates the healthcare in every country and despite us believing we have the best healthcare system in the world, it rates 49th in the top 50.

    3. Judith Aldridge Thanks for the explanation. This is horrible. If this is what Trump supporters want. I can’t even listen to Fox News. They are so obsessed with Trump. Feeding their viewers with trash. Unbelievable. Can’t wait for the next election 🗳

    4. @Judith Aldridge ….Oh judith …Thank you for this break down …You are one the people we need ..So we can join hands together and vote this unserious /tyrant out of the white house …..Please i will be grateful if you can mail me personally ..@ frankfriedrich001@gmail.com

    5. @Judith Aldridge yes …We need to join hands together and pull them out from the white house ….We will make that happen …

  5. Waiting for a tweet from one person to tell them how to vote? Do the Republicans understand what a Dictator is? It seems not.

    1. Does anyone remember how the German counterattack was delayed, allowing the Allies to drive inland on D-Day? Hitler was sleeping, and no one in the German High Command could release the Panzer divisions without his order and they were afraid to wake him. Well, Covid-19 has established a beachhead here and the GOP is just as useless as those generals were then – waiting for Der Fuhrer to give his approval.

    2. @Computer User
Exactly, and the German people paid a high price for their errors. I do not WANT the GOP to lose this fight – because we will be the casualties.

    3. @Pat Doyle Yes and how many brown illegals will the GOP massacre in the southern holocaust? Thats the question.

    4. @Computer User
To be honest – probably not too many – their style is to keep them away and let them die elsewhere as much as possible. It is their MO – as shown by Trump’s attitude toward the cruise ship with Americans affected with Covid-19. He wanted to leave people in those cramped quarters where disease spreads easily, and they did not have medical facilities because he “did not want to see our numbers go up because of a ship that was not our fault.” He wasn’t worried about the people who might die – just whether he could be called responsible for their deaths.

The GOP do not want to be “killers”, they just want to be selfish enough to LET many people die and do their best to distance themselves from any responsibility.

  6. If you’re looking for clarity, don’t expect to get it from Trump or his administration; look elsewhere.

    1. Jack Boot South Korea learned quality control from us. Maybe the can return the favor WRT. A bad machine that must go back to the factory.

    2. Trump yesterday-to Yaiche Alcindor

TRUMP: Well, I just thank it’s a nasty question, because what we’ve done, and Tony had said numerous times that we saved thousands of lives because of the quick closing. [Ed.: The closing of borders to some travelers.]

And when you say_me, I didn’t do it. We have a group of people, I could ask perhaps, in my administration, but I could perhaps ask Tony about that, because I don’t know anything about it. I mean, you say we did that, I don’t know anything about it. Disbanding, no, I don’t know anything about it …

High school: “I was just holding the Coronavirus for a friend.”

      “Joey did it, not mr.”

    3. @Clark Kent Actually I’m none of those things, but if you’d like to know something about me all you have to do is ask; I’m happy to introduce myself. Take care, Clark Kent, If that really is your name.🤨
😉Stay safe and healthy, my friend!

  7. This is simply astounding. Trump has devoured the Republican party. Repubs are now incapable of making a decision on their own.

    1. dstmars, Yes Mr. Sanders we will give you all our money and guns! We don’t even care you are a millionaire socialist with 50 houses!

    2. @Bud Fudlacker nice deflection, try to stay on topic. Or you waiting in Trump to tweet what you should do?

    1. Do you think he reads anything? He probably has someone else splain it to him. He’s probably trying to figure out how he can get some money for the wall in the bill.

  8. REPUBLICANS OWN THIS for allowing the debacle to continue! A life/death emergency & incompetent response causing unnecessary harm & deaths was inevitable!

    1. John Preston
The Center for Disease Control has actual data on their website. Do not trust the TV corporate news media – this woman lies incessantly because she has an agenda.

    1. Any guess on whether the bill on waiving the charge for the test as proposed by the house will be approved by the WH

  9. Republikkkans you got to see this people may die and they are waiting for a tweet thumbs up really they are really thinking of the American people let’s just wait while people are dying for the orange man

    1. Just the Republicans who it would seem have forgotten the whole “co-equal branch of government” thing.

    1. @Democrat Resistance
I wish she were mine – I’m over in Muskegon stuck with that loser Huizenga. The guy is such a GOP party hack I think he would vote for his own execution if it was in the platform.

    2. Meh…
Nothing was done so where are the adults? Bill passed but Senate went home for 12 days. So what is she going to do in 10 days?

    3. Hellah Competent! Proactive action MICH governor regardless of cases.! Becoming very clear what NOT to do!

  10. ELISSA SLOTKIN 2020!!! now there s a brilliant outspoken young lady that should run for the WH!
