I applied for EI on March 31, still my request is under review. I am a single mom with no financial support. The EI phone number is not working. I don’t know what to do

Just as Camden McInnis stated, the Cerb is for a quick response and to help immediately.
At the beginning of March EI claims jumped from a few thousand to over a million (and has since grown as the months have gone on) – but it is a manual process to screen each candidate. Luckily they are back paying but hopefully CERB can get you by in the meantime until then.

Ei phone number works, u just need to work hard to get thru. Start calling by 8:30, everytime it drops the call, keep calling back , when it asks for sin number, dont put it in, wait to go to main menu, press 0 .. keep doing this till u get music playing saying you are in que. i did this for in the mornings for two mornings and i got thru, but u meed to keep redialing many many times, i suggest a cell phone for quick redial

How will I know that my employer applied for the subsidy? Who will let me know about it? The other thing is the difference in the amount of money I get from CERB and the payment I would get from my employer? Why????
