@Hope Wilson I didn’t say the Housekeeper should enter in a DND I say Housekeeper manager must inform if it’s there over 3 to 4 days for the reason if there was a ded body in there or someone got sick by themselves
@Antonet Tolbert i didn’t say you said that I’m only speaking from experience as I’m working in one of the biggest hotel here in Toronto and if there is that sign on the door we stay out whoever is behind that closed door will call room service if they need anything and you leave it at the door
Depends on the security protocol on the property. Usually once it is booked all u need to do is either have the key for ur room or just state the name under which it is booked. Once inside u just become another random guest. No one really keeps track of u as they try to maintain ur privacy. If u keep the do not disturb sign no one will disturb u. I am currently at a guest house and it has been 2 days now since a room has the do not disturb sign on it. Though if it stays too long and no sign of movement management would check on ur wellbeing. U never know if someone is having some health issues. But if u see lights on and off in apt night and day. Then u wont disturb them. Ppl can be weird and some dont want to deal with anyone and is just seeking time away from humanity.

Not impossible guest houses usually maintain the privacy of their guest. A artist could book a room under a different name and no one would realize. It is easy to forget who is who on property. Especially if u arent expecting someone to be there who just commited murder. Not something you would have on your mind.
