  1. I think it’s so cool they were all debating each other last year

    • Biden lost debates but won the election? Use your critical thinking how is that possible ?

    • Aahliyah Hernandez | December 16, 2020 at 3:00 PM | Reply

@scgamerd you tell other ppl to use critical thinking…while at the same time you think debates have winners and losers? That’s NEVER been how debates go…the debates are simply that..debates..and there was only ONE real debate with trump and biden ..and all trump did was attack everyone around Biden but not land any attacks on Biden himself the first one trump barely let the man talk..the town halls showed who the winner was ultimately it we go by your logic.Biden and trump had town halls at the same time..Biden had well over 20 million viewers while trump barely had 10 million..use YOUR critical thinking and understand. Trump lost. He has done NOTHING In four years,to deserve a,second term

    • like trump and ben carson?

    • @Aahliyah Hernandez I guess you weren’t on the debate team in school. lol there were 2 main debates.

@first last I guess you don’t know how to read…and my point was who..debates better doesn’t determine who will be president and there’s no guideline that declares one candidate or the other “winner of the debates”.
      Anything else?

  2. Full støtte fra Norge. Kjør på Pete!

  3. Love his speech. This is how to address the country.

  4. I’ve never taken an interest in what the Sec. of Transportation has to say, but here I am.

Why did he sound like Dr Sheldon Cooper from BBT to me when he spoke about being a train enthusiast!! Maybe, just me.

The Cavalry/Marines are coming to help WMATA !!!

  7. High-speed rail? (welcome to the 21st century)

    • @Dillon McCluskey, perhaps the defense budget? The United States routinely spends more on its military and related projects than China, India, Russia, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, the UK, Japan, South Korea and Brazil….combined. I know this country values its overseas invasions, but we should really look into fixing and improving our current infrastructure.

@Dillon McCluskey Take a hunk out of the vastly over bloated defense budget, or, *gasp* actually tax the rich?

    • delritmo la clave | December 16, 2020 at 7:29 PM | Reply

      Absolutly !

    • @Dillon McCluskey Maybe a couple less lanes on I-10. Why does nobody ever ask the money question when it comes to asphalt in Texas?

    • Dillon McCluskey | December 16, 2020 at 9:59 PM | Reply

@Andrew Warther Well, considering China is getting ready to go to war with us…. I am happy about the “over bloated” military.

We do tax the rich. They pay the legal amount required by the IRS.

Here is the thing…. you will never get their money. *Gasp* because the majority of Congress is rich.

      Good luck with that.

    Congrats mayor Pete❤️🙏🏻

  9. We’ve been watching Nickelodeon for the past 4 years, now it’s time for Adult Swim

  10. So glad you were chosen Pete; great intelligence added to the rest.

You are a wonderful person good luck on your new job Love you and your husband.

  12. So much is about “who is allowed to belong.” The outgoing regime’s attempts at voter suppression continue, as President-elect Biden assembles an administration that is representative of the nation’s diverse population.

  13. This is real progress.
This guy has something about him that’ is new and refreshing. I Ike him a lot. I’m not American but that matches not. Things are looking up.

  14. This wow speech. Really he is grounded, you can feel his kindness and he is smart
He is my kind of person 💕

  15. Patricia Torres | December 16, 2020 at 2:27 PM | Reply

Kind and smart. Love Pete! USA!

  16. Finally the grown ups are back in charge. I feel relief like I never have in this country.

  17. He would make a really great president. We need someone like him in there.

    • America wasn’t ready this time around. From my _personal impressions;_ not so much because of him, but rather the fear of 4 more years of their primary opponent. Frankly, a bit of the same story with Bernie. America “needed” a “safe bet”. Someone really experienced with broad recognition, and yet as little controversy as possible. They “needed” a non-controversial bland vanilla longtimer, with a wholesome enough rhetoric to secure the ballots of conservatives that couldn’t stomach Trump anymore.

Hopefully, Biden can live up to those baked-in premises. Be bland, be fairly boring, be non-controversial – be successful in striking good compromises and getting the wheels of govt running again. Successful in dialing down the temperature, so some of this extremely abbrasive, destructive, toxic polarization can fizzle off. It’s downright amazing what America, the American people, can achieve – if and when we work together towards common goals. Something we’ve been failing increasingly hard at, for far too long. We don’t need to hold hands and sing _’Kumbaya’_ – we don’t even need to like eachother. But we need to get along, work together, and return to reasonable, sensible compromises.

In due time, i’m sure Pete will play some significant roles throughout that. And so will conservatives, liberals and everyone in between.

    • @The White Wolf Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Let me guess, you live at home with mommy and daddy and don’t have a clue about anything?

    • The White Wolf | December 16, 2020 at 4:46 PM | Reply

@bc28043 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha sure whatever you say pal

    • Mayor Pete is obviously a smart and well-spoken man — speaks many languages, and so on. So, why the relatively insignificant post, Mr. Biden? How many ex US-transportation secretaries (say, since the 1960-s), have gone on to hold greater office?

    • @Ron I disagree with you. He is young and has done extraordinary things. Well educated veteran, a man of integrity.

  18. One of the best speakers ever, he never fails to amaze me every time he speaks.

  19. Michel Fortier | December 16, 2020 at 3:11 PM | Reply

He’s extremely smart, speaks 6 languages, served in the military with a stint in the middle east and well-spoken. I think he will do great things with this new endeavor…..
