    1. @Lespaul521 you gotta read all and not use what i say out of context.

What i say is, that pete doesn’t offer anything but platituddes in his townhalls and debates (and for his own luck normally doesn’t even get challenged on his nonsense and gets a video segment here where the headline is that he “details” his plan WHILE HE IS SAYING NOTHING of subytance), but on the other hand sanders gets asked and repeatedly answers as far as possible in detail how he is going to pay for his proposals.
It is hilarious how biased the MSM is against sanders.

    2. mishratheforsaken yeah I agree, but we’re talking about oration strategy here not the quality of his plan, which is what actually matters. Compare that to trump in 2016, who literally just said he was gonna make good plans once he’s in office

    3. @Lespaul521 Just because Trump’s “plan” was terrible, does not give Pete a free pass. I don’t need all the gritty details in a town hall (if he has them, he should point people to his website) but i do want more then a single vague answer surrounded by a bunch of “look how humble i am” BS.

  1. You could explain why you fired the black police officer. You can lead the way by demanding cops get treated like everyone else and should face punishment without pay.

    1. @SavageRealist LittleIdealist –
“He also fired the black fire chief”
Maybe the systemic racism in that town was the blacks felt they can’t be fired or they will scream racism. Performance on the job declines with that attitude. Guess what? That’s what happened here.

    2. He has explained this many times.. the police chief was illegally recording his coworkers. Pete wasn’t able to listen to the tapes to actually hear what was being said due to legal issues, so he couldn’t act against the racist cops on legal grounds. Life is full of grays, not just black and white

    3. He fired the BLACK police officer because the officer disagreed with him and they didn’t like each other. Or if you prefer I’ll give you the dumbass answer you want and he won’t say. He fired the police officer because he is White and the officer is Black and no the officer will never get his job back then end. Next question that really doesn’t matter pls. Reason it doesn’t matter, because he won’t win the election even if he by some act of god won the democratic primary. In all honestly he can not go toe to toe with trump on stage. Neither can warren, bloomberg or Biden. Sanders can on stage but he can’t get all the democratic vote so he’ll lose the election. Fact is Trump is on easy street to another 4 years. There are no contenders. Hilary has already lost and wont re run, the only person Trump couldn’t of beat in anyway Michelle Obama said shes not running so sadly its Trump till 2024. and dems gonna lose the house and most likely the senate. also trump will prob elect 2 more supreme court judges before 2024 meaning instead of a 5 4 split it’ll be a 7 2 split. Game over democratic party they really screwed tthis all up. Hail furer king emperior Trump.

    4. BREAKING NEWS: In the clown show democrat debate, we finally reach the closing statements, however, most viewers have either fallen sleep or changed channel

    1. @Max Fitzell What’s your solution? To keep emphasizing racial differences and reinforce tribalism and division? How is that a solution? What’s necessary is to let the past die instead of constantly blaming the people who are alive today for the acts of their ancestors. Division can only heal by turning over a new leaf and starting fresh.

    2. @Black Monty Burns There’s a stark difference between the holocaust and the situation in the U.S. today. Also note that the Jewish community in Germany does not incessantly keep pointing a finger at the great grandchildren of Nazis as if their ancestors’ actions somehow make them guilty. The generation that caused the suffering made amends. Once that generation is gone it’s time to let the past die with it and start fresh.

    3. @CherubiJubell Obviously colorblind society is not to be taken literally. The hair color analogy is fair – race needs to go the same way, to a point where it’s deeply uninteresting what color a person’s skin is. My point was that the way to get there can’t be to dig deeper trenches and go full on into identity politics.

    4. @CherubiJubell Ah, a subscriber to the old “race is a social construct” dogma. I’m sure that black people love it when they hear you say they are just white people with dark skin.

    1. @Landscope 360 you liberals do love to take other people’s money.
You always act like something was taken from you. You are aware the rich people like Bloomberg don’t actually have 50 billion In liquid assets right?
Majority of that is estimated value of a company, that could collapse in a day under the right conditions.
So why are liberals so entitled?

    2. @cj p This has nothing to do with being entitled. Society as a whole creates the conditions required for businesses to thrive and for entrepreneurs to get rich. Once they are, it’s perfectly fair to tax them as a way for them to give back to the country they benefit from so much.

    1. Democrats created this monster. Your the ones who can’t accept hard truths. There is no answer Pete can put out that will be accepted.

    2. You have absolutely just coined the single best phrase I have heard all year. petes weaponised insipid ramblings… It’s perfect! I only wish I could click like another 500 times.

    3. @cj p It won’t be believed because his platitudes are the opposite of what he actually did in his many years as Mayor.

  2. Pete Buttigieg just said that”women of color is the backbone of his campaign.” How many of his 40 billionaire donors are black women? I’m pretty sure Ophra isn’t one of them.

  3. “I have the campaign best positioned to win… if I get the most votes.” 😂😂😂
    5:36
So the candidate with the most votes wins? Very insightful. Thanks, Pete!

    1. @dokushirizo such a smooth-talking snake oil salesman. What Mayor Pete did to the Darryl Boykins, the first black man in South Bend to serve as Police Chief, is utterly shameful… *VOTERS BEWARE*

    2. @Neha Kodali Do you think 1/1024 native “Deer-in-Headlights” pocahontas Warren is joking…?

  4. I’m now at 4:05 and I literally haven’t heard any action item about this Fredrick Douglas plan… But thanks Don lemon, tough non question. Solid moderation.

    1. Toxic Grunt please just read the NY Times on Pete as a mayor (and his actual track record). Also you remember the reason for the firing of the chief? Maybe look it up

    2. @Dédé Kruisman Like I said, you can’t get these idiots to read. He fired a black police chief, that’s literally the only thing they hear. Everything else in one ear, out the other.

    1. @pxkev we live in a socialist country you just don’t see it because oligarchs and plutocrats have pulled the wool over your eyes lmao🤣

    1. Shawn have you read the plan it is one of the most comprehensive plans I have read it was just curious if you had.

  5. Hey Pete, can you answer a question in under 5 minutes!? Damn man, you’re full of B.S. and flowery language.

    1. Yes, there is a lot of fluff in his speech but if you actually listen you’ll see that there is a lot of substance here. He addresses all the things he should have in this question. I don’t know what else you would have wanted to hear. His plan is very extensive and he could never do it justice in such a short period of time, so he talks big picture. If you don’t think he hasn’t put a considerable amount of thought into this then I encourage you to read his plan for yourself: https://peteforamerica.com/policies/douglass-plan/

  6. “How do you plan on doing this”
“I understand your problem and will address it”
“No but how are you going to address it”
“My plan is the most comprehensive”
    “No but what’s your plan”
    “It’s written by black people”
    “What does it say”
    “We must fight institutionalised racism”
“What measures will you actually take to fight it?”
“I understand your problem and will address it.”

    1. @ashitaka Of the amishi No deflecting with my statement on how to address issues in minority communities. Than you go off on some hate filled rant about completely unrelated subjects. If you live in the US maybe there is some other nation that you believe to be more righteous and just……… if so, then move there already.

    2. @Erth Mann I ain’t going anywhere. This is my country too, and I’m sick and tired of not having a voice. So I’m gonna use it, real loud like.

    3. @Snowcold “How do you plan on doing this–I understand your problem and will address it”
Great parody of an evasive speaker. Except this wasn’t Buttigieg.
1 Rather than glazing over at what admittedly started off as a pandering sounding presentation, try looking up Pete’s Douglass Plan:
A comprehensive and intentional dismantling of racist structures and systems combined with an equally intentional and affirmative investment of unprecedented scale in the freedom and self-determination of Black Americans.
      https://peteforamerica.com/policies/douglass-plan/

2 Pete did in fact, expound at length on his “plan on doing this”
      3:25 Proactively co-invest in black-owned businesses
9:30 Reinstate the rule that communities affirmatively further fair housing
10:05 “Federal dollars to allow families…to take title of properties…and hold those neighborhoods
