This “mandatory” quarantine is only for CANADIANS returning to Canada. Flights to sun destinations from Canada are now all cancelled, effectively making travel for Canadians almost impossible. HOWEVER, he has placed absolutely ZERO restrictions on non-Canadian international travellers. They are still free to come to Canada and visit family and friends at will. No quarantining and no testing necessary. It is no coincidence that our numbers started to go up when he rolled out the welcome mat for family and friends visitors in October. He is targeting just Canadians, or in other words BLAMING Canadians for bringing covid here. Thousands of non Canadians come to Canada every week, mostly from covid-heavy countries. Once again, so busy buying the immigrant vote, he refuses to do anything that might inconvenience them.
I think you need to do your homework on this one.
