  1. Thank you for your service Dr Peter Phillips, you serve your party and the people of Jamaica. Go home and relax you’ve ran a good race , relax and give your life and self to God. I wish you all the best… God bless you sir I salute you 🙏🏽🙏🏽👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🤗😘

  2. This is lesson to Jlp party. This too will b your fate if u do not do the people’s will and get complacent.. gone r the days of die-hearted politics over the people of JAMAICA..BE MINDFUL

    1. @Bread & Butter the jamaican people have spoken it is a new era, This socialism mentality that Manley have people under when he was carrying Cuban communism, must go simple as that, progressive capitalism is definately better for people & ja economy.

    2. @avis spencer My dear the so called “communist” leaning of Micheal Mankey was never about absolute political but more so about empowering the poor, the uneducated etc. If you take note of Manley’s policies, you’d realise that he was before his ti.e and also that it was about lifting up the average man. PNP does not embrace communist ideals but it does seek to empower the poor especially through education but you are right thete is a shift. Who wants education these days? Who wants substance these days? It’s all about hype. Anyway, let me just say that the tide aga3the PNP has been building for a while. In 2007, the people showed that they didn’t wsnt the PNP even with Portia at the helm one of the most popular political figures. JLP woyld have gone on to win the 2011 election but because JLP went in and scavenged snd plundeted as they usually do and exacerbated thongs wigh the handling of the Dudus saga, the people voted out the JLP. Now the JLP has a new and younger face that appeals to the masses, the tide that was already there against the PNP came out strongly. Please note that part of the JLPs victory was as a result of the z PNP rejecting the leadership of the PNP. Another thing you can’t speak so difinitively about an electorate when only 39% voted. It’s interesting to note that the figure JLP won by in this election is actually less than what they lost by in 2011. What does that say? The majority of people stsyed at home because they wanted neither. None was able to inspire the confidence of the majority of electorate to come out and vote. The only change the electorate has changed is that more young people are selling their franchise for 15,000/20,000 etc. The young people love d hype and they went where the hype was. The PNPs base is still there but they will now need to inspire that base because dem nuh gone nuh weh.

  3. Dr. Peter Phillips wasn’t an effective opposition leader in the first place, thus the shellacking suffered by the PNP last night.

  4. Paulwell just don’t dear run for presidency of the party please. Pnp need baggage free going forward

  5. I hope bro gad does not put the ministers with baggage and corruption in any power of government 👍🏿

    1. Georgia Rankine tribal politics does not help no country. Jamaica is not for pnp nor jlp. Plus if u look closer to the data only 37% of the electorate voted, that is not good for any democracy.

    2. @Journey With Keleene Yup a Government ruling with only 21% of the voting populous and an Opposition with a 22% minority in Parliament is not a good look and nothing to be proud of for any Jamaican especially a Politician. Ppl need real uncorrupted change.

    3. Journey With Keleene no good at all I’m very embarrassed over this election never in my life I’ve seen MP win a seat with these kind of numbers this shows that more than half of the people did not vote I guess in the next election no one is going to vote except for the die hearted ones

    1. Its not young blood thats need they are corrupt too even more so from what I experience. We need ppl with integrity, vision and competence.

  6. Mr Andrew holness the prime minister of jamaica please know what you are doing because eyes are watching you 😎

    1. Real chat you don’t perform you very kick out no die hearted I don’t favor no party me dealing am looking for performance progress better way movement in Jamaica if not you will get. Voted out unless people love suffer are wicked to Dem self they will continue vote for that 🤨🤔

    2. @Theresa King God…fr the same man who using the term Bro-gad. Has 4 corrupt accusers on his vote ticket and couldnt even close his eyes to show reverence when the Pastor was praying on Thurs nite. Wishful thinking.

  7. Thanks for your service Peter go and live your best life you deserve it blessings and prayers and good health ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💯💯💯👍👍👍👍less stressed

  8. Candidates need to start building communities, fix roads, water, drains and stop think bout, how dem nah do ntn fi ppl cause dem have “SAFE SEATS”

    1. They need to continue remembering the 3rd. It proved to the PNP that there are no safe seats. The blind can now see and the deaf can now hear. JLP be warned.

    1. I think he will announce it now what his he talking about he can’t keep his word how could jamaica trust this man

    2. Listen to he is making the right choice he shouldn’t have been the leader from day one. PMP supporters don’t get me wrong but I think if a younger leader was leading the party maybe things would have be different..

  9. Go take you rest Dr Peter Philips, look after your health and enjoy your time and many thanks to your contribution for your people of Jamaica god bless you sir 🇯🇲🇱🇨🇬🇧

    1. On point. Sometimes u have to focus on whats more important. His health and his family should and always be his priority.

    2. Daniel Miller I am not Jamaican but they are my family , Dr Peter Philippa he has contributed many years to the political arena, and he deserves to be applauded for all his efforts , I am sure he got things wrong like them all , but I here to acknowledged his contributions to his country , that’s all bless👏🏽👏🏽🇯🇲🇯🇲🇱🇨🇬🇧

  10. Honestly I would love for them to think Julian Robinson he is the one with the cleanest slate just my thought

  11. Nuff respects to Dr Peter Phillips. Sooo happy Peter Bunting was sent home he is an arrogant man much rather Portia. No allegiance to any of these men but would never want Peter Bunting representing Jamaica. The country need leaders to build Jamaica to a first world country, connect with the people and provide a moral base. The civil service must get on board to help the politicians to change our country -wishing Andrew all the best. No more tiefing scandals to either party. Paulwell do not even try.

  12. This is a msg to the elected MPs THE PEOPLE OF JAMAICA HAVE THE POWER now go to work for the Jamaican people because they will be watching

  13. PNP got used to winning in “PNP Country” … Jamaica is NOT ANYBODY’S COUNTRY ! … WE, the people, run tings !!

    1. Would feel better if that sentiment was being made based on a voting populous higher than 21%. But it really doesnt say much with 63% of voters hanging in the balance. All politicians need to beware.

  14. All the comments I have read here are either partisan or bias. The real reason, the obvious reason the PNP lost the election is because of disunity in the party. ”A house or city divided against itself cannot stand and must fall”. Selah.
