There was no jackpot winner in Wednesday's Powerball drawing, sending the new prize amount into near-record territory. If a player matches all six numbers in Saturday's drawing, they will win the third-largest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. According to Powerball's live calculator, the prize now sits at $1.5 billion, which amounts to a $745.9 million cash payout.

The next Powerball drawing is Saturday, Nov. 5. Powerball drawings are broadcast live each week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The Powerball drawing is broadcast live at 10:59 p.m. ET on Nov. 5 from the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee. The winning Powerball numbers for Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 were 02, 11, 22, 35, 60 and a red Powerball 23. The Powerplay value was 2X.

You only technically need one matching number to win at least some prize money. When playing the Powerball you select five white ball numbers, and one 'Powerball' number which is meant to match the red ball. For an extra dollar, you can opt into 'Powerplay' which multiplies all non-grand prize winnings by a factor of 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10.
