The Green party should stick to holding the government to account on real environmental issues like the bill to end protections of flood plains and wetlands from development. Unfortunately their new platform, and that of the NDP, is to go full on Green New Deal. It’s full of terrible ideas dressed as green, and devoid of environmental policy that Canadians could all support. It’s as if these parties are all trying to compete to get as few votes as possible.
