A few more dollars for a few years – not worth the tax cuts to billionaires and corporations who are the real long-term beneficiaries. They just use that money to buy more power. Domestic terrorism has skyrocketed while we are left arguing over what to do about it, so no, I don’t feel safer from terrorists. The unsustainably expensive, paid-for-by-**Americans**, border wall is a manipulative, sadistic political stunt, not a reasonable approach to border security. Not to mention the inhumane conditions the US allows at detention facilities among families seeking asylum, and no one detained has been convicted of a crime deserving of such treatment. Meanwhile, Trumpsters obsess about a multi-billion dollar wall that is way more than necessary, while our infrastructure is crumbling into accidents waiting to happen.
I will not be grateful to a man who has inflicted so much long-term damage to my country. Literally, he’s attacking the environment. He doesn’t have a clue about wind turbines, or he’s intentionally making a fool of himself. Speaking of lying, I’m stunned by his lies, narcissism, self-enrichment from the office and from our tax money: being bribed by other countries and selling us out, serving himself above all else, destroying our relationships with our allies while debasing himself to dangerous dictators, lying at a rate of multiple times a day, etc., and so on.
He says America First but America is clearly not even in his Top Ten Priorities. His administration **is** the “Swamp” in concentrated form, his “best people” have the highest turnover rate in modern history, and he turns on each one and throws them under the bus. He abuses his position and that high turnover more by assigning only Acting roles in numerous leadership positions – not confirmed the Senate.
He is a stubborn intransigent bully who has ZERO natural curiosity or even basic understanding of elementary school concepts who can’t even admit a mistake. Speaking of which, our education system is abysmal, even worse under the not-at-all qualified but somehow confirmed Betsy DeVos – and millions of Americans are already poorly educated as it is, but he loves that, wonder why. He put a vocally biased, self-proclaimed revenge-seeking Democrat-hating utterly unfit conspiracy theorist on the SC. And now recently he wants to take us to war.

@L. Langhorn While his days in office do seem to be numbered, it’s hard not to note the extreme damage he has done to our country in just about every way. Practically all of the GOP in power either did absolutely nothing or actually helped enable Trump’s corruption and incompetence. For the vast majority of these spineless crooks, there will be no consequences. If anything, Trump showed them just how far they could push their agenda and get away with it, so even after he’s gone, does anyone really believe we’ll just slide back to “normal” measures of right and wrong? American flag wavers love to think our country is an indestructible perfect jewel… but the great, “perfect” civilization of Rome fell victim to its own arrogance and went down in flames. History may come to show that Trump was the match that lit the fuse to our country’s fiery destruction.
