President Donald Trump held a news conference to tout the nation's latest jobs numbers.

"This is an AMAZING JOBS REPORT!" the president posted in an early morning tweet.

Trump announced his event after the Labor Department announced an unexpected increase in the number of jobs in May, and a drop in the unemployment rate to 13.3%.

The press conference comes on the same day that Trump is going to Maine to tour the Puritan Medical Products factory that makes medical swabs used in coronavirus testing.

    1. Would be great for him to walk up to the podium ….and look out and no one be there…lol

    1. LM D. Because that’s what you do when the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, walks into your area.

    1. Trump thinks things are great ? Virus still killing people, massive unemployment, riots in the streets. His idea of “great” is different than mine. And states that are opening up ARE seeing an increase in cases again. What a liar.

    2. The fart of a cow would have been more exciting … and above all much shorter … but the stench that arises when the cow farts would be identical to the crap Donald Trump tells!

  1. If you want to keep your president contended and keep him in office start wearing your masks if your still alive .

  2. Everything is “tremendous” except his brain and his “itty bitty squirt gun”….according to Stormy Daniels.

    1. The bad situation he’s referring to is the rioting and looting, he said he is for protesting and allowing there voices be heard but the media won’t tell you that

    2. @monsterthon925 our country was founded on a movement of civil protest. At one point we dumped today’s equivalent of hundreds of millions of dollars of tea into the Boston harbor. We started a revolution killing tens of thousands because 5 people were shot and killed in Boston. I’m not saying one way is right or wrong, but the message needs to be of unity not division.

  3. When you lose your job for four weeks in a row, you will no longer be counted as unemployed, is that right?

    1. Are you counted as unemployed if you are STILL battling with your state over pandemic unemployment insurance???

    2. Trump was right tears ago when he said they rig the jobs numbers to make it look better then it is, since he rode Obama’s coattails he loves the lying stats

    3. @Smokey McPot Unfortunately I work 2 jobs and both were seen as essential so I havent had a day off in forever. Meanwhile some co workers of mine get paid to stay home… Must be nice, or maybe not I dunno what it’s like on the other side of this virus

    4. The wicked media is going to gleefully slice and dice this video for the evening newscasts. Watch and see the bias in action.

    1. That right. If only we could see the world through his Deranged mind. It all would be great. The roses would be the biggest roses anyone had ever seen. Everything would be beautiful and we would all be rich. Just give us that drug already.

    2. @Anders Knudsen and I from the uk Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    1. J Johnson my daughter is going through similar issue. That’s a state not a federal issue.

    2. Jon I am sure you criticized the president for walking to the church that was burnt, in your eyes he can do nothing right. Too bad!

    3. @attila suto I voted for Trump the first time. I won’t be doing it again. I have a brain. Do you?

  4. WE MUST UNITE AGAINST THOSE WHO WERE MEANT TO LEAD US!!! ITS A SAD DAY BUT FOR TOO LONG WE HAVE LET THE INFECTION ROT OUR WORLD. COEXIST NOW

    1. Shane H Trump didn’t create the joblessness. So what’s your point you’re making? I mean didn’t people want the country shut down? You can’t gave it both ways.

    2. @Shane H
Obama era job creation was about 9 million or a 6.2% increase. Trump era job creation, pre-COVID, was 3 million, 4 million, a 3% increase.

  5. The future is so bright you gotta put on a blindfold…..oooookkkkkayyyy….rigggghhhhttt….
