@chriss4365 Yes, stopping the president from committing more crimes is all important. He wasn’t trying to stop anything criminal. The investigation had been dropped before Joe got the prosecutor fired at the request of the State Dept and the International Bank. Doing so made it MORE likely that any corruption at Burisma would have been uncovered, not less. Try something that has some logical consistency. None of the defenses make it past stage one bs.

I feel like it was someone else writing on behalf of him. Yes, it echoes a lot of his tired rhetoric, but he isn’t likely to have written it, simply for the fact he has been proven to not read very well (both by admission and by witness accounts).
The letter was cobbled together by an aide from Trump’s tweets, chopper talks, and rallies. Trump doesn’t have the patience or the focus to write six pages. Trump may have skimmed the letter before signing it. If so, he must have been pleased by the writer’s flattering portrayal of him and his supposed accomplishments. I do think Trump has written one letter, his unhinged epistle to Erdogan. That letter was short enough to maintain Trump’s attention and was even crazier and ruder than the letter to Pelosi.
