In his daily address to Canadians about the government’s response to COVID-19, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that the federal government has signed a deal to secure 26,000 doses of a therapeutic drug from Eli Lilly, with options for thousands more.

No tests for me, no tracking apps, and no vaccines. I’m young and healthy and can wait another 30 or 40 years before I need it to live.
don’t be ridiculous. MANY (not all obviously) hospitals are at capacity or overflowing. But if you show up to your local hospital and demand to see the Coivd patients you might just verify your conspiracy fuels suspicion, because this will vary from place to place
I had to visit 2 different hospitals this year for some tests, they sure weren’t even close to being as busy as they normally are. Just more Fear Porn.

@madrox8 shut down enough businesses (producers/true tax “payers”), and there won’t be enough tax revenue to pay government salaries.
Government employees on all levels from municipal to federal don’t really “pay” taxes – they just take home a net pay. By this I mean they don’t generate revenue and then are subsequently taxed on what they generated, unlike say a barber or restauranteur, or massage therapist – who all generate, then pay tax to Ottawa.
If the private sector is all outta work, no taxes to be collected – then what?

I had to go to the hospital emergency on the weekend, and I’ve never been seen so quickly in my life. Within an hour I had been seen, where as it’s normally an 8-10 hour wait.
Definitely not overrun, and I live in a major city
