  1. All I know is that Chuck Schumer, Joe Manchin, and the rest of the Democrats better do something about the Filibuster, either Abolish it forever or Reform it, because if they don’t then were all screwed!!

    1. @Brave Wave you literally cannot backup a single thing you orginally said. Its seriously laughable.
Now you are talking about dark money like dems dont also receive the same. You brought up koch like he is the only one yet dems have also recieved money from him.
You are a sad sad soul.

    2. @Brave Wave says the person who claims i intimidated them for asking for facts on their original post.

      Obvious troll is obvious

    3. @vero crove Don’t forget about the midterms next year, the Senate, House, and Governor races, because everything we want done is on the line if we don’t help the Democrats keep and expand their Majority’s in the Senate and House, and also help them win control of the Governor mansions in Florida, Georgia, and Texas.

  2. I will admit that much of what my generation did was wrong and I’m in my sixties. Too many in my generation used to say things like “I’m not political” or “I don’t vote.” That’s why politicians were thrown for a tizzy the last election because so many people voted. That needs to be the norm instead of the exception. If you are going to buy a house, you do your research, you go out and look at several houses and you make an informed judgment before purchasing. When it comes to presidential and Congressional elections, all too often, it ends up in a popularity contest. Anyone can say they’re going to do this that and another thing when they get into office but why aren’t people researching what they have done in the past because a zebra cannot change its stripes. Maybe this generation that is under 40 right now can somehow get it right to where my generation got it wrong for a lot of my fellow boomers.

    1. @just me it is definitely better than the other guy’s past was. Think about it. He is continuously ripping off his supporters through their own debit cards and credit cards the same way that he took the money that Daddy left him and blew through it to the point of multiple bankruptcies.

    2. @just me Again, there’s some accurate stuff and some complete BS in what you’re saying. You sound extremely confused, like a kid earning a C grade. Buckle down son and you’ll figure it out. You know something but have no clue that you don’t know half of it. In the meantime, try not to teach the class because you are misleading them.

  3. Only in America you have a majority that cannot take actions and a minority who controls, just goes to show your politicians do not represent the people who voted them into power, the money-men within the financial institutions have the say whether it’s for or against democracy as long as the get a good deal…

    1. @Bryan The majority (approx 80%) of Americans also support voting by mail/early voting. The repu media and repu party leaders are trying to convince you otherwise. Don’t be a sheep.

    2. @BryanSHEEP, SHEEP ARE PEOPLE THAT WATCHED THE U.S. POSTAL SERVICE GET SHUT DOWN BY TRUMP AND DEJOY SO YOU COULDN’T VOTE. THE PROBLEM WITH THE GOP IS THEY CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH. INSTEAD OF CHANGING THEIR ECONOMIC , JUSTICE, AND HEALTH POLICIES TO BENEFIT THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE, THEY WOULD RATHER DENY A LEGITIMATE ELECTION AND RIGG THE RULES TO STILL THE NEXT ONE. CHANGE YOUR PRODUCTS, THE MAJORITY OF AMERICANS AREN’T BUYING WHAT YOU’RE SELLING. (HANDLE THE TRUTH)

  4. Republicans have passed election law changes that allow them to do exactly what Trump couldn’t force Raffensberger to do throw out people’s votes because they don’t like the way you voted.

    1. @Junie Jake Look it up yourself. Republican States can now refuse to certify, set aside the Secretary of states without having to prove fraud. Just allegations are enough you know like they’re doing now. 2020 was the safest most secure US Election in History so says the states electoral college, Trump appointee CISA head, Trumps Attorney General Barr, Republican Governor’s, Republican observer’s, Republican controlled legislatures. Trump lost in a Landslide.

    1. but not for the people just a media narrative to divide Americans Americans are not your enemy girl

    2. @Gordon MacWilliam Corruption is the constant enemy of human society. It’s nothing new – “dark money” is every present in human history. It’s just a lot more dangerous now that we can destroy the planet over a family squabble.

    1. STOP TRYING TO DENTY WHAT. THE HOLD WORLD SAW ON. LIVE. VIDEO? THOSE BLACK MATTERS PROTESTERS. THAT DEST PROPERTY AND LOOTED SHOULD BE LOOKED UP. NOW LET’S. GET TO THE. CAPITOL INSURRECTION

  6. It’s time for the democrats to play hardball. I don’t know about everyone else but I’m tired of being walked all over.

  7. So ironic that the filibuster is being used to STOP debate when it’s original purpose was to encourage it – to give the minority a voice. Perhaps someone should tell the die-hard institutionalists…

    1. Mitch knows this and ignores every protest. He gets paid Well with Dark money to do so. Totally sick and a really messed up System

    2. Actually, it was originally created in its present form to stop the passage of bills the minority didn’t like; not the same thing as forcing debate. It has existed in its present for since about 1918; it’s first heavy usage was to stop the passage of some early civil rights bills, and nearly succeeded in stopping the passage of the 19th Amendment (which granted women the right to vote).

    1. be careful what you wish for. the you dems won’t be in control forever. soon enough you will be crying to have it back when you as the minority are steamrolled (if only the republicans had the cajones to do it)

  8. My senators are Durbin & Duckworth. We have AMAZING reps here in IL. Imma start calling my neighbors senators tho. 😂😂😂

  9. When neither party can pass a bill because of the filibuster it should be easy to see where the problem lies.

  10. It’s all an illusion of choice. We the American people are just pawns in a big chess game. It’s no longer “We The People” by “The People”
It’s more like “Big Bucks versus “Bigger Bucks”

  11. donnie was pro russian, seems the republicans are too. does any body dispute putin wanting democracy to fail? why are republicans curtailing voting rights? because they have the same goal as putin?
