Prosecution Dismantles Defense Witness Theories About Cause Of Floyd’s Death | The ReidOut | MSNBC

In stark contrast to the medical witnesses heard from the prosecution, Dr. Fowler testified that the cause of George Floyd’s death was everything but Chauvin. But Joy says the entire testimony ‘imploded’ once the prosecution picked apart his findings during cross examination. Fowler conceded multiple points, including that a lack of bruising and other injuries do not prove that Floyd did not die of asphyxia and that the weight of Chauvin's gear was not factored into his calculation of the force applied to Floyd's neck. 1. It was epic enjoyed every minute the defense has called 2 druggies , a bad cop , and this quack oh and a young cop trainer

    1. @Music G it speaks volumes of how many cops testified against this guy, thats not something that usually happens in my recollection. Everyone wants distance from Chauvin because what he did was so vile, and he acted like he was entitled to do it. Rightfully so

    2. Hey Thomas Z…this guy didn’t like being exposed by Mr. Jerry Blackwell as a paid quack. 😄😃😅😆

    3. That Quack was Coached by///a do you agree with anything I ask you is true Defense Attorney/// regardless if it’s a lie. Wink 👁wink, nod nod, uh huh, uh huh, yes yes /// “Yes Man”.

    4. @T Dragon 357 the doctor testified he got some of the info from ” what if” Nelson not facts

  2. This prosecution team is amazing, and if it is the exhaust pipes that murder him, Chauvin is the reason he was that close to the pipes.

    1. Well now its proof Chauvin’s Police Cruiser was complicit in helping Chauvin by aiding & abetting the help of emitting carbon monoxide.
The Police Cruiser should be put on trail for attempted murder.

    2. @T Dragon 357 Even if that ridiculous statement were true, wouldn’t Chauvin be responsible for putting Floyd’s face next to a tailpipe?

    1. @wolke1955 That’s because he only consults on cases of white cops who murder black people. The current status of his medical liscence stipulates that he may not practice nor teach (he was a professor at Johns Hopkins).

    2. There is con-men in every profession…He wanted a pay check….One Dr. received $1200 for testifying…..

    1. @Akitsu Maru STEVEN CROWDER HAD RECREATED THE RESTRAINT KNEEL ON HIS NECK/SHOULDER AND LEGS FOR 9:32… HE DIDN’T PASS OUT.  HE DIDN’T HAVE TROUBLE BREATHING… HE DIDN’T DIE.

DMX DIDN’T HAVE ANYONE KNEELING ON HIM. 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Maybe MSM hosts should take enough pills to result in a toxicology report on 11 Ng/ml of FENTENAYL and 19 Ng/ml of METHAMPHETAMINE.

A STUDY OF OVER A MILLION ARRESTS SHOWED 3000 USES OF THE NECK RESTRAINT AND OUT OF THEM 0 DEATHS.

       3.5 FENTENAYL- Average overdose death.
7- Double the average overdose death.
      11- George Floyd.

      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s like blood alcohol levels.  .08% is a DWI.  .40%-.50% is lethal.  George Floyd would have been 1.5% BAC.

      🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

      👋🤡👋

    2. @Akitsu Maru GET BACK TO WATCHING ANIME AND PLAYING BAD GAMES YOU TOGGAF. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  3. I had to go to work ,at work now and this trial is something else ,I didn’t know that they lie the way they do ,while actually seeing the truth ,shameful ,but they have no shame

  4. You forgot about the best part

“Maybe you should do your homework rather than ride with your opinions” -Blackwell 😂

    1. @SPZ Aruba, He does not have to show intent. He only needs to prove that what Chauvin did was a contributing factor in the death of George Floyd. That’s it.

    2. @FENTENAYL FLOYD You fool the argument isn’t for a neck injury killing him lmao it’s for lack of oxygen being the main factor. Also he did say his neck hurt. “‘My neck hurts, my stomach hurts, my everything hurts”. But you weren’t watching that part right? And you ever heard of the side recovery position 🤷‍♀️

    1. Joe Perez, a former internal affairs police captain in Prince George’s County, Maryland, who is not involved in either the Chauvin case or the Black lawsuit, said, in his opinion, Fowler’s role as a defense witness in the Chauvin case constitutes a conflict of interest, given Fowler’s stance as a defendant in an ongoing lawsuit involving an officer-involved death investigation in Maryland.

Perez, a former shift commander on a special investigative response team that conducted criminal misconduct cases involving police-involved shootings, said Fowler was known to work closely with the police.

“It appears to me that they chose Mr. Fowler as an expert witness so that he can co-sign on their version of what they say happened,” Perez told WTOP.

He said in his years of experience in internal affairs, medical examiners and police officers would often become friends over time — and that had the potential to lead to false narratives.

      Other cases
Kenneth Ravenell, the lead counsel for the Black family, mentioned other in-custody death cases Fowler oversaw that he questions, suggesting there is a pattern of controversial rulings.

The Intercept article broke down the cases of four men who died while in police custody in Maryland under Fowler’s watch. None were classified as homicide.

But in the 2015 case of Freddie Gray, the high-profile death of a 25-year-old Black Baltimore man who died after suffering spinal injuries during a police van transport, Fowler did rule that death a homicide.

Fowler retired in 2019 after serving as chief medical examiner for 17 years. Before that he served as deputy chief medical examiner in Maryland from 1998 to 2002 and an assistant medical examiner from 1993 to 1998. He was the president of the National Association of Medical Examiners in 2015 and chairman of the board in 2016.

Fowler now works as a private, independent consultant in forensic pathology and medicine, according to his LinkedIn account

  5. I think she was polite when she said “picked apart his findings”. From what I could tell there were no findings, I think he watched the main officers’ body cam footage one time through and decided what he would say to make his clients happy.
I dont think he comprehended how much video evidence there was and how easy it is to challenge him.

    1. Yes I think he underestimated the prosecutor and didn’t consider the gear on Derek Chauvin as additional weight🙄. He certainly didn’t prepare himself well for this kind of cross-examination

    2. @Grace Kibaya how can you morons not think it is heart-related??? 90% blockage on one side and 75% on other, meth and stress. No one cut off his arteries in his neck.

    3. @Lauren Peck how could you (🤡) not realize that even accounting for the factors you mentioned, Chauvin exacerbated any health-related traumas? And you have the nerve to call other people idiots? I get the impression you aren’t very smart.

  6. Ladies and gentlemen… class is in session! This prosecutor is dismantling this defense and it’s attempt to humanize this corrupt cop and excuse his actions and behavior.

    1. 1) NOTICABLY HIGH IN THE STORE.
      2) 5 MINUTES LATER PASSED OUT /ODING IN HIS VEHICLE.
      3) 3 MINUTES LATER ON CAMERA WITH PILLS IN HIS MOUTH IN HIS OWN VEHICLE.
      4) 10 MINUTES LATER SAYING HE’S CHOKING AND CAN’T BREATHE 7X AS PILLS FALL OUT OF HIS MOUTH IN THE BACK OF THE POLICE CAR.
      5) MINUTES LATER SAYING HIS STOMACH HURTS ANOTHER SYMPTOM OF OVERDOSE.
6)NEVER ONCE COMPLAINED OF SEVERAL MINUTES OF COMPLAINING ON THE GROUND OF ANY RESTRAINTS ANY PAIN IN HIS NECK ANYTHING OTHER THAN HE CAN’T BREATHE. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

  7. I thought this testimony is very deceptive and legal he is straight from out of the garbage can if any one of the jurors agrees with this fraudulent despicable garbage they need their heads examined

  8. Looking forward to the prosecutors taking these defense witnesses and exposing them for the disingenuous liars and fakers that they are!
