  1. He’s has a point. The original deal was that Saudi Arabia wouldn’t use the armored vehicles in the Yemen War, but they broke that agreement. On the other hand, a lot of people’s jobs in Southern Ontario depend on that deal.

    1. @makeouthill very insensitive comment. Youre obviously trolling her with it… its not a choose one over the other scenario… we dont have to lose jobs. We just need to source other buyers.

    2. iGlesias Beats That’s easier said than done. You’re competing against the US military market, which is the preferred arms dealer for most countries.

  2. Stop arms sales to Saudi Arabia. They are not our friends, the strategic value is minimal, and politically it brings us nothing but ill will from other countries.

  3. Justin must have some Saudi connections because he sells them weapons and he had the big coverup for SNC Lavalin who does work in Saudi Arabia

    1. pamela kingswell, True, and Canadians deserve better. We do not support the sale of Arms to Saudi Arabia. Trudeau is just after an UN Security Council Seat and he’s courting the Islamic Bloc by selling arms. So unbelievably gross I can’t stand it.

    1. I sincerely hope so, but they won’t go down without a huge fight. Sadly Trudeau doesn’t give two rips about anyone in Yemen, or even anyone in Canada. He just cares about himself and his reputation and he wants to ‘make a name for himself’ by securing that UN seat and he doesn’t care who dies for him to get it.

  4. Finally someone asking the right questions of our government … CBC and Global news better be taking notes on how journalism is actually done

  6. Eves Engler is quickly becoming a national treasure. Our government openly justifying war crimes. Cute.

  7. Yes, why are we selling weapons to a country with abysmal human rights and currently at war with poor Yemen? Shame on the government for putting money before ethics.
