Local government needs to stop paying bad cops legal bills and civil suit settlements. Make the cops and police departments pay for it out of their own pockets and budgets. Watch how fast they reform themselves then.

E.A. Mason How can that mom act as if her son was a church going, YMCA volunteer, non drinker, smoker and was living a life that all parents wish their kids were doing? He was fleeing in a car when cops tried to pull him over. Had a warrant for aggravated robbery, had a gun, had drugs. Then in the middle of being arrested, decided, YEAH, let me jump in my car and drive away.

@Mike X Oh I see, if it’s not the same thing as you believe then it’s an issue right? Reminds me of a few years back in Fla. I believe, 3 girls slipped out at night around 1 am and met this guy to ride around with. The guy stopped at a 7/11 or gas station, the girls said, lets steal the car, they were 14. So the guy calls the cops, they get in a chase the girls turn down a road and its a dead end into a pond. They go in the pnd, the car is sinking, the cop gets out starts to go in after the girls and notices several Alligators in the water and weeds. He determines it is unsafe to try and go in. The girls tragically dies. The next day, 2 of the 3 moms are on camera, one in a Jiffy pop hat, the other in an Aunt Jemima hat, saying the cops are to blame. Said it was just a 9,000 dollar car. Why would they chase them. No tears. No explanation why the girls slipped out on a school night, no they shouldn’t have stolen the car and then ran from the police. NOPE, straight to blaming the cops.

Your coverage of these protests is seriously lacking. Pay some reporters to get in there and show the world what is happening instead of borrowing footage from independent reporters who are being shot at night after night. The national guard and state troopers’ behaviours have been absolutely disgusting. They are indiscriminately gassing crowds (so much that it’s seeping into apartment buildings) and shooting rubberbullets directly at protestors bare faces and hands. We are watching from Canada and I am amazed at the sh*t coverage from your teams.
