Britain's Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for coronavirus, Buckingham Palace announced Sunday. The 95-year-old sovereign — who is celebrating her 70th year on the throne — is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week, the palace said. I wish the queen is speedy recovery, and as one who recently lost her 90-year-old mother, I am sorry for what is undoubtedly a time of worry for those who love her. If I should ever use a story such as this to comment with a tacky joke or personal political opinion I would will my mother back to life so she could slap me upside the head for, as she would say, “being ugly”.
