What’s the use for congressional oversight when it seems you do not have the power to overcome the obstacles by president, Barr, Mitch McConnel and the Republicans party ? Something is very wrong here. The “check and balance” put in by the founders doesn’t seem to be working here.

You cannot riddle the people’s yearning with bullets. You cannot massacre an idea.”…. the idea he was speaking about is Democracy (it was his response to Tienamen Square). Although President Reagan was before our times, I am sure he would have added “You cannot eviscerate truth.”
