  1. She was a hero in her own right. I can’t imagine how hard it was for her being thrust into public spotlight with her stuttering. Scary enough being thrust into it because of her husband and worrying about him going into space. She was a very courageous, gracious, beautiful and strong lady.

I applaud and admire her so much.

My deepest condolences and sympathy to her family.

Thank you for being a great part pf our history. Of my generation’s history.

    R.I.P.

  2. John Glenn was a hero, of that there is no doubt, he was also a pioneer in space travel, but you should report his achievements accurately, he was the first American to orbit the Earth, not the first man to do so, that honour goes to Yuri Gagarin. I know it’s pedantic but the truth matters even in the little things.
All that being said Annie Glenn was a hero who’s life deserves to be celebrated, she and John are traveling the heavens together tonight.

  3. wow!! great story about Annie Glenn…one of the unsung heroines of the space age!!.my mom was born the same year as Anne…and died in 1965..55 years ago.!!

  4. Annie Glenn a member of the “greatest generation.” She was courageous, generous and lived a sacrificial life for the good of others. We must not forget our victories and those used to bring them forth. Thank you, for honoring her and reminding us where we’ve come from. This shall give the “next greatest generation” the vision, strength and courage to revive that same spirit as we find ourselves living in this brave new world, the new normal. The dream shall never die as long as we remember. 🎆🇺🇸

  5. Great life Annie.

Correction: Yuri Gagarin is the first human to orbit the planet in Space.

  6. God bless Miss Annie. John Glenn came to talk to my first grade class after he orbited the Earth. He was a local hero. A few years later, I realized he was a national hero and Miss Annie was always there with him.

  7. tRump & Evangelical Pences “Space Force” is a friggin farce & you’d be a fool to sign up for his plan to explore UrAnus. Open up buttercup & all aboard!

    1. WAAAH WAAA TRUMP ASSASSINATED ANNIE WAA WAA HE IS THE CAUSE FOR COVID, just stop talking about trump in a memorial video.

    2. I hope everyone remembers Reagan and his “star wars”, we used to call him President ray-gun.

  8. God speed Annie, and God bless you and your family. Thank you so very much for everything you have given us.

  9. Trumps America , How far has America fallen letting our hero’s die from lack of empathy and lies , shameful .

  10. Such a beautiful story. It’s great to see something so positive about America, at a time when the people in and of the White House are such a disgraceful bunch. Thank you, MSNBC.
