    1. Legalize it, but not under the lie that it will curb addiction. If you want an opioid high, pot is not getting you there. Apples and oranges.
Smoking and/or drinking are not a substitute for sobriety. Investing in sobriety is how we save lives.

    2. @Professor Farmgirl It’s well researched that using marijuana relieves withdrawal symptoms while not reinforcing the brain chemistry changes caused with opioid use. It literally will help the opioid problem when you allow doctors to use marijuana as a tool. This isn’t saying it should be equal to alcohol laws, just putting out there the obsurdity of saying sobriety is the path to sobriety. The brain changes undergone in addiction lead to a huge failure rate in that approach. Ask any warden.

    3. @BadPanda15 pot effects folks differently. While every addict walks their own path, AA/NA will tell you that self medicating is not healthy and that if you want to kick addiction, you need to be sober. Medically assisted recovery should be monitored by a dr.

  1. Donald tRump exhibits all the classic signs of being an Adderral junkie and has never sought help for his problem!

  2. I just can’t find the sympathy. Growing up the in the 90s the government told black families to “just say no” to the drug epidemic. Now that it’s happening to other demographics, it becomes a ‘real issue’ a tragedy. As Dave Chapelle said ‘ They should do the same thing they told us in the 90s’

    1. Buddy, that all got packaged up by a nice old lady named Nancy in the 80s. The war on drugs was escalated by Nixon. NO ONE has fixed it completely, but don’t trash someone for even trying.

  3. Believe me it’s not just white it’s money not to take away from the black but wait poor go through the same things man

  4. The Dean family is a Joke. Rich white people go to fancy rehabs an write books about addiction, while poor people go directly to JAIL

  5. Democrat policies have sure equaled things out.
Now everyone, regardless of skin color has serious drug problems in their communities.
    Yay for equality! … 😒

    1. @Crimdor I dunno, can you backtrack any faster from your belief that it’s “Democrat policies” that are leading to opioid addiction in rural republican communities in republican-led states? 😅😂

    2. Ro G – considering the lockdowns were pushed by democrats, and anyone that didn’t comply became a target of the media, I wouldn’t consider it backing down at all.

    3. Stina Reed – every community has had those issues, and I’m not just waking up to it, but the situation has been made worse by the democrat media mob and their draconian lockdowns and threats to publicly shame those that don’t.

  6. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

  7. republicans: “Addiction is a choice! Take responsibility for yourself and stop blaming your problems on drugs!”
Also republicans: “All of America’s problems are the fault of radical liberals and socialism! It’s all someone else’s fault!!”
    🙄

  8. Lot’s of drugged up rich kids these days. I hope Hunter Biden is finally done with the pipe. God bless him.
