  1. This can never happen again. Every cop in America needs to know if he puts a knee to someones neck he goes to jail. The Chiefs need to enforce this now.

    1. @Ram K Swamy It is legal. It took three tries to remove him from the vehicle. Third time’s a charm. The cop will walk anyways, the Medical examiner says Floyd didn’t die from lack of oxygen or blood flow to the brain.

    2. @Diana Strong you must realize we are not discussing politics here. If you are stuck there , there is no room for conversation that needs to happen

    3. @Mark Sebring I am not a doctor. The cop probably will walk. It depends. But I think he must have removed his knee once the guy was restrained with his hands tied to his back.

  2. Let’s totally ban police brutality and hold them accountable and stop making them untouchable because they wear uniforms…how about that?

    1. @Spunn Center Exactly! I like how you impersonate so well Trump’s cult 😂They always spew uneducated incoherent word vomits and projecting without being able to present any fact, data or evidence to support their claims and they have nothing other than trying to blame the media. That’s so typical of them. Your sarcasm is appreciated, you’re spot on!👏🏽👏🏽

    2. @JR N
Really cuz you’re really a dimestore beast system slave.
A demoralized phukkpuppet owned and controlled by demons

  3. It’s really nice seeing people talk openly about solutions. This is a really positive direction. It seems like conversation on improvement is opening instead of judging sides.

    1. @wb6162
so the cops only serve and protect whitey?
and if the people of colour dont like it they can always go back to their “home” countries?
      is that what youre sayin?

    2. An unpunished child only gets worse. Long lasting lessons are learned with pain. By the 3rd or 4th incident, they get jail time and lose career field – this guy had 17 incidents, 2 involved shootings. No repercussions..How many times can you EF up on your job??? Unless, of course, he is part of the ‘rabid-dog’ crew they have for the ‘dirty work’ and just look the other way.

    3. dan mac I can’t speak for what happens in that head of yours..I’m just saying white cops should no longer engage with blacks. The city can fire them Or find cops that look more like the community they work in.

    4. @wb6162
well thats a little bit better than “Call it what you will, just refuse to police POC”
perhaps it’s not my head, that is at issue here?
so basically, any call that comes in the race of the callere, AND the race of the suspect, must be identified
i somehow doubt thats going to address the racism in your country
i’d say it would only add to it

    1. You can ban ‘specific technique’ but not ‘Police Brutality’ … as ‘it’ is difficult to define under the law. do you mean, ‘non contact policing’ … that’s out of the question. Some people might define ‘arm grabbing’ … ‘brutality’.

    2. I read that whole article and I still don’t have a better understanding of qualified immunity. It is exactly what it is, a contemptuous tool to stomp on your constitutionally protected rights.
      It’s an abomination.

  4. Trump Losses: 1. N. Korea 2. Russian expansionism 3. China trade war 4. COVID-19 5. U.S race relations 6. U.S. Main St. economy. Q: How many strikes does it take to say, Hey Donnie, YOU”RE OUT

    1. @Russian Bot The *southern democrats* NO LONGER EXIST. The Democratic party of 2020 is NOT the party of 1920, dingus! U republiKKKcon MAGA dogs RUN the KKK, the alt-right sikfuk nationalists, the neo nazis, the q-anon psychos…👎🤮
That’s a fact! Ur 1-page republiKKKco manifesto garbage doesn’t work here, B!TCH! So P*SS OFF!
BTW – a Fox ‘news’ reporter was also attacked… u like that, @sshole?😈
      *TRUMP FOR PRISON 2021*

    2. @Spunn Center u sikfuk republiKKKcons keep going to ur islamophobia? Get some some more tips for ur 1-page republiKKKcon nazi manifesto, u f**kin’ reprobate filth!🤮👎

    3. @Spunn Center U call yourselves ‘people’, MAGA dog? 🤣🤣🤣 U filthy republiKKKcons r animals that belong in a kennel!😈👎

    4. @Fahim Ahmad
The democratic serpent left antichrist network is the devils legion literally pushing full beast system Demonic tyranny and the destruction of humanity, the same serpent line that enslaved the black race proving you’re a brainwashed embarrassment

  5. I understand your question about what should the Executive do about the police….except you have a ‘president’ who has no clue what he’s doing, is in way over his head, and is busy sucking his tweeting thumb. Too busy with ‘presidential duties’ to conduct Presidential duties.

    1. Trump has created the anger in America.
Trump has tried to drive a wedge between all Americans
Trump has made it clear- If you are not 100% behind him- You are the enemy
The only difference between the violence and looting at night and a Trump rally is Trump being there in person screaming in a microphone.

    2. Too busy calling Putin about putting a meeting together. He thinks he has his own priorities and cannot be bothered with dying people and racism. He is such a loser.

  6. Stop recruiting military veterans. Stop having IDF training cops in combat. The police are simply the tools of the Corrupt Corporate Elite who wish ONLY TO PROTECT THEIR WEALTH, by keeping the working poor oppressed, intimidated and powerless to get ahead. This is not just a race issue…this is a CLASS WAR. 💣💥💣💥💣💥

    1. @Paul Jos I am retracting that statement…I made a gross generalization based on a commentary I read, in fact I took care of many veterans at the Milwaukee VA in the late 70’s and became very fond of most all of my patients. I Apologize.

  7. Honorable Representative Demings. I was comforted by the recent comments. I am a big follower of you, I love the work you are doing for us in Congress, and if my prayers are answered you will have an increasing role to ponder and accept. C’mon, we need you! Ms. VP, I hope I see the day when we have a woman President. Your perspective on so many issues gives me hope!

    1. I was thinking the same thing- She would make a great Vise President before becoming President herself

    1. 2,839,205 people died in 2018. 5,084 died from choking (self). 992 were killed by police. Thats 0.03% of fatalities. Youre 5x more likely to be killed by your own breakfast.

    1. You are a real person, no matter what color your skin,or the shape of your eyes. There’s just a lot of stupid people out there, that don’t understand it. It seems funny to me that so many of the people that call down other ethnic backgrounds are calling themselves believers in God. Well since the Bible says that we all came from Adam and Eve, then aren’t we all equal?

  8. The ‘protests’ are about Mr. Floyd’, the ‘riots’ are about our corrupt President and government. Please get him out of there. He must resign!!

  9. Joe Biden, you want to win? Here’s your VP. Val Demings can help this country to heal, bring the police into line through better education and training, and she speaks to the local people, not Wall Street. She’s a true leader. Announce it soon. A black woman VP, yes. From a 62 year old white man who’s seen it all.

    1. I hope so. It is hard to imagine doing nothing when someone was being killed. Those officers had many options beside assisting. I know there are codes in police work but killing an innocent man must be a very big line you will never step over. They may only get manslaughter and/or acccessory to murder or manslaughter, but they must be charged.

    2. @Eric w Does that justify the brutality, racial profiling, harassment, extortion, assaults, false arrests and lies told by many arresting officer? There’s more to it than what you just spoke on. The bad behavior, is a daily thing, and must end.

    3. @rgw1380rw There are 800,000 cops in America. If they were as you describe them, we’d all be dead with a couple years. And racial profiling is tough to combat, when the numbers tell you where to look. Thats a problem the community has to fix, not the police.

    4. @Eric w Did I say they are all just killing people? What I said was there is more to the outrage than just some MOS killing people. The bad behavior is a daily issue that comes in more than one form.

  10. There has been an increase in open racism since Trump took office and made it “ok” to be racist. We need justice for Mr. Floyd’s death and we need to remove Trump as soon as possible or the chaos is going to get to a point that people are not watching the gradual changes in the government towards martial law with Trump at the helm

  11. Once a person is handcuffed and laying face down that person is restrained. No reason for choking or kneeling on that person’s neck. Once restrained they should be placed in the back seat of the squad car. Watching that video reminded me of how a Lion catches its prey bites down on its neck until he suffocates it
    Unbelievable!

  12. “Our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this planet. We all
breathe the same air. We all cherish our children’s future. And we are all mortal.” -John F. Kennedy

  13. Stop insisting that a person lie on the ground when they are standing there with their hands up!! Stop allowing arrests for “disrespect”!! Officers should be able to withstand being called names of have foul language used around them. They do it all the time to citizens who just have to take it!! They need to stop allowing someone to be arrested for resisting arrest!! That’s the single dumbest thing the massively broken justice system allows!!
