Rep.-Elect Williams: Georgians Have Been ‘Ignored’ By Sens. Loeffler, Perdue | The Last Word | MSNBC

Rep.-Elect Nikema Williams (D-GA) says Georgia’s Republican senators have ignored the needs of the people of their state who are struggling because of the pandemic. She tells Lawrence O’Donnell that that ignorance makes the January 5th runoff election all the more important, so Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock can “work on behalf of the people of Georgia, together.” Aired on 12/30/2020.

    1. @WJ Town I don’t mind change for the better but does it have to be for all? Maybe just 👨🏻‍🦰

    2. Basic reality lesson…. If everyone is paid a living wage, everyone can afford every necessity… If their paid slightly more than a living wage, they choose a few small luxuries, and saving for a rainy day….

What that does is create millions of additional jobs as demand for products and services rises….

Which still gives the advantage to white males, because sexism and racism are real.

More consumer demand is always good for long-term economic growth….

Keeping as many people on the brink of homeless freezing to death in winter, or starving slowly, just brings additional health expenses to every emergency room.

Attempts to drag minorities down, make life harder for everyone. It increases the need for welfare, which mostly benefits greedy corporations, who intentionally pay less than jobs are worth to eek out a bigger profit than last year.

There’s no societal benefit from larger corporate profits.

Rich people don’t have high consumer demand levels suitable to sustain the entire economy, because they’ve already bought everything money can buy.

Improving quality of life for poor and middle class people, produces much larger stable economic systems.

Try saying this out loud…. My white suburban family should starve so Jeff Besos earns more, because I’m paying welfare for his employees…

You are, he has the money to pay living wages, and better than living wages… He’s just to greed obsessed to consider his own employees worth lifting out of poverty.

Which is sad, because they’d make him richer by being able to purchase more needs and wants.

    1. Sure you are, don’t worry about that, anyone our age reading blogs won’t admit it, or would be supportive. 😂

    1. @Dario Mann ok you still didn’t say how the dems or the gov are so called telling you how to live and how the dems are forcing politics on you they campaigning just like the republicans and speak at rallies just like the dems can you explain?

  1. You should be showing EVERY DAY how wealthy some senators are and how a misrepresentation they are for common folk

    1. @Mid Mo Guitar Dude You make it sound like its a big conspiracy theory and the court system is in on it. Is that what you mean by cheating? Please explain when lead attorney Rudy Giuliani was before a judge and asked “do you believe massive fraud was committed in the election”? Rudy’s answer: “NO YOUR HONOR.” Why did he say no? For several reasons. One, perjury, and Two getting disbarred and losing his license to practice. Its time you wake up from that hypnotic spell you fell for called “con Don.” You’ve been bamboozled, hoodwinked, and abused ! Please tell me you didn’t donate to his defense fund?

    2. @Mac Daddy 50 There’s plenty of evidence of irregularities in this election, multiple machines switched Trump votes to biden upwards of 30k votes in one instance, intervallic ballot count submissions to dominion servers showed DECREMENTS in Trump votes between submission periods, 150 precincts in Fulton county had 90% + vote counts for Joe Biden, whereas 75% + for any candidate in ONE precinct is historically suspicious. If you’re so confident about the legitimacy of the election, why not let GOP investigate these clear examples election impropriety, glitches, human errors, poll watchers being blocked from poll centers (the list goes on), all of which favored SOLELY Joe Biden?

Let there be an investigation, telling half the nation to “just accept it” in light of all of this evidence is laughable. If the investigation returns nothing, then I’ll gladly admit Biden is president, but until then, in the eyes of 74 million voters, this election was stolen.

  2. I hope Georgians get it finally. Kentuckians did not. McConnell has done nothing for them, yet they re-elected him. Wake up.

    1. You are so right! I’m from Kentucky, and they don’t get it! McConnell has DONE NOTHING FOR KENTUCKY, yet they keep voting him in.

    2. If you from Kentucky , check in . You have some explains to do . Why vote that alien back in office . Hopefully Georgia stands up 🆙 and Votes 🗳

  3. I’ve been fine on the ground here in ga…what is she talking about?
Oh scare tactics and the same rhetoric, blah blah blah we for youuuuuuuuuuuu pick me pick me

  4. That loefler p.0.s is worth over 800 million and charged with inside trading already and wants to be in the senate.. Gee I wonder what ever for.

  5. It’s disturbing to see how the GOP has this kind of power to wield against Americans trying to make it day by day. Yet time after time these GOP elitists are voted in. They are public servants who’s interest should be for the citizens of this country which it’s not. I hope Georgians realize that.

  6. Dear Georgia/Georgians Please🙏🙏🙏
Vote Blue💙💙💙and end this Republican nightmare👻once for all☕️
