The interesting lesson to be learned from the witch processes, however, is that people never learn the lesson. Think about it. Everyone knows that people hunted for witches and burned girls and women alive. But ask them why they did it and why they stopped and hardly anyone has an answer for you. Did they stop believing in Jesus? No. So what changed? They’re disinterested. Just like they’re disinterested in learning how a strong democracy like Germany could become a dictatorship. All they know or care to know, is that it could never happen in Germany and could never happen in the USA either. The fact that it did happen in Germany, is seen as something that just happened. But it didn’t just happen. Like the witch processes, it started because people didn’t educate themselves and it stopped when people did. But then they stopped caring and forgot all the details that allowed it to happen. Am I still talking about the witch processes or the Trump presidency? It really doesn’t matter.

This will be the first time in 125 years or more no one in my family is democRAT. I was a democrat and voted for Obama the first term. The Democratic party has gone crazy and needs to be dismantled. This is an official investigation. I appreciate seeing a comment that isn’t simply insulting the other side, so that is fantastic! You are rare! Because of that, I wanted to give you a heads up in this sense:
This has incredible parallels to Nixon when impeachment was considered. His overall popularity was practically the same at around 30-40%, with his own party support being far higher at 70-80%. After *all* of the facts were made known, people were outraged. You believe he hasn’t done anything wrong, but what if these accusations are true? Confirmation bias may be shrouding you from seeing a serious security issue to the citizens of the United States. Instead of having a very polarized opinion of he hasn’t done anything wrong, perhaps assume he has done at least one thing wrong, as is far statistically likely as EVERY president has done something truly morally wrong. If so, what in your opinion is most likely? Just consider it for a bit. I’m not telling you to change your overall support of Trump, but no one is capable of “doing no wrong”. What, therefore, is his wrong doing?
