  1. Give the money to american business to distribute because they are so honest. WOW this country is owned and operated not by the people but by businesses.

    1. Businesses hire people.
A majority of people don’t own businesses and don’t employ dozens, if not hundreds, if not thousands of people.

  2. I pray that all of you vote in November and this nightmare of Trump will be over.

    Auckland. NZ

    1. i pray that you vote out that dude Ardern. that thing, whatever it is, is insane and will try and take the rest of your guns next

  3. What about ubi millions will not have jobs to go back to the tv propaganda is shameful no accurate numbers either

  4. Dear t’rump supporters,
If re-opening the economy at the cost of losing some people is acceptable, please tell me which of your family you’d like to sacrifice.
    Sincerely,
    The Rest of Us.

    1. @His Bubbliness You’re the one that can’t keep up. You liberals don’t want to go back to work because you’ll die, so why dose’nt everyone stay home? Why should health care professionals go to work?Sarcasm is way to much for you to handle.

  5. A bit of reality that so many persons health care availability is tied to insurance via their employer. I don’t know the best way what this Representative is proposing can be implemented, but the problem(s) that she is talking about are real, and we need to try some solutions. Oh, and the tRumpian tRolls are out in force on this one. The economic catastrophe we are combating is NOT going to be resolved without rolling back the public health crisis the COVID-19 is confronting us with. Listen to Public Health professionals, not charlatans and mouth breathing thugs. Semper Fi, all.

  6. One more time. A better solution to this economic situation, instead of all these cheque’s ,bailouts. Pass an emergency law while this virus is progressing……..to suspend all debt, rent, payments, credit cards, everything. A time out, a pause. Just let the time pass. A person or business under quarantine, with no debt, needs no income. It would discourage corruption and nepotism and stress on everyone. Not cancel all debt, just suspend it. Give food allotment to those in need. No it is not perfect but it’s still better than the present plan. You’re welcome 😊

  7. Newest study shows black/brown women are 14 times more likely to die of COVID-19 than white women. Trump doesn’t even acknowledge this.

    1. News flash: trump only cares about other white people, trump is a kkk member, He’s socially praises them as “good people” after one of them killed a bunch of people with his car, to see trumps actions and not see he is a white supremacists is complete ignorance to what’s going on

  8. 🌈 the ol’ I’m smarter than you in front of my big book shelf shot..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  9. If you claim we can’t afford this or similar measures, don’t claim that the United States is the greatest and wealthiest country in the world.

  10. Some businesses are not going to recover for months or years and perhaps ever. Restaurants, bars, and theaters are going to have to run at limited capacity and even then may not get clientele to meet that limited capacity. The Trump murder/suicide pact virus sharers cannot completely make up for the majority of sane Americans, who are going to be more cautious.

  11. They think in a reverse way. They do not want to help the consumer in a consumer driven economy.

  12. This is better than unemployment insurance payments… BUT still need stimulus payments for unemployed, retirees losing other income sources, SSA recipients, etc.

Many employers won’t take back employees that they severed in March.

  13. 55 years ago when I first started paying health care claims for the third largest insurance company in America, it became clear that employer paid insurance plans were not the correct way for our country to go. With the failure of everyone except Hilary Clinton to bring the need for a National Health Care Plan directly to Congress, I had to be content getting the best coverage possible through HMOs. This pandemic has really brought home the disadvantage our system has placed on us. This would be an excellent time to reorder some of the things within our economy. We will need to make the move anyway into greener, more effective ways of doing things. Part of those changes can be the restructuring of the financial network that our healthcare system exists on. The rest of the civilized world already considers “healthcare a right”. It’s time for America to join in.

  14. This is what australia has done free healthcare free childcare for essential workers which our gov considers every job in this time is essential our gov has unified Australians by both political parties working together in unison only way forward
