    1. Kev Warriner , OMG! $600 a week will never ever make American workers rich. If the GOPs was able to give tax cut for the very rich why is it sooo hard for them to give that $600 to working people. 😡

    2. If anyone has ever thought about invading the USA, now’s the time to do it. The incompetence, the paralysis, the hypocrisy, has never been so suffocating, the lack of leadership never more evident than it is today.
Then again, who wants it?? Over 160,000 dead, millions infected, tens of millions out of work, a record national debt of $26 trillion and a totally failed, divided, and dysfunctional society.
No-one wants a bar of it.

    3. @William Marick I think you have him confused with 45. He bragged about passing his dementia test and like he said the last five questions were really hard so that tells me he couldn’t finish it.. If you have to brag brag brag tells you a lot…

  1. Americans need recurring payments through the duration of this pandemic! A second $1200 check is not nearly enough, it wasn’t enough the first time it’s not enough a second time!

    1. They don’t care, look at how they are fighting over a measly $600 dollars for avg Americans! F the Republicans! They don’t talk about scaling back when they hand out trillions in tax cuts or trillions to support the stock market now do they!!! Whenever policies are introduced that will actually avg American the first thing out of their mouths is how much its going to cost, but they are willing to squander Trillions in support of their own agenda! Sickening!

    2. Right! What is a 1200 dollar check going to do? We are going to be right back in the same situation the next week, month, months after. They need to give the American ppl stimulus until the pandemic is over and the economy gets back on its feet! The reps don’t care though and that is so Disgusting!

  2. Republicans projecting again. Deny benefit to millions rather than allow a few people come out a couple hundred bucks ahead.

    1. The Senate renegotiated HEALS twice and are digging their heals in on a third time until Pelosi will negotiate. At this point it looks like Pelosi wants this to be a problem.

    2. Michael P Jeffries If they DID come out “ahead” it would be spent on our economy in one way or another.

  3. Need money to fund this? Look no further than the pockets of the wealthiest 1% who have increased their net worth by hundreds of billions (or trillions) during this pandemic, thanks to the theft of the American taxpayer by Trump who funneled our money into his precious stock market. Declare these gains illegally obtained and force its forfeiture back to the people. It’s OUR money.

    1. The rich need to pay their fair share in taxes. Taxes pay for the things we all use, rich and poor alike – infrastructure, Fire dept etc.. trump brags about not paying taxes saying it makes him smart but no, it makes him a free loading crook.

    2. @paulafrazer Yep, don’t you just love all those fee loading as….holes! Can’t wait to vote November 3rd to get them out.

  4. Vote early. Have been doing for years. Much shorter lines. Check out your local options!

And ignore any promises that Trump makes as it is just a con job!

  5. Couldn’t right wing democrats and Republicans find common ground through their mutual acceptance of corporate bribes in return for denying people a universal healthcare system like actual democracies have.

  6. A lot of the people that have lost their lives was the main household bread winner. They haven’t thought about theses people, while theses Republicans wants to lower the unemployment pay outs. People still have to pay their house notes and rent ,bills . They want to give millions to the rich ‘ and give a funky one time $1200 to the poor that’s lost so mush . I don’t know how theses people live with themselves. I hope people are listening and watching how these Republicans are dealing with this crisis ‘ and return the same favor at the polls

    1. For some reason or another people tend to vote against their own interests. They stay with the party not what they are doing to them… Sad bit true. Let’s pray that they get voted out starting with 45 and let that trickle down to all Republicans in the Senate like that first tax cut that trickled down after they took care of their donor’s first and nothing worth getting to the American people…

  7. Getting something passed by Congress over the next 2 months, does nothing for the American people now!

  8. Something for the country to help the people and the economy with out that this country will fall deep into a depression.

  9. American People: “We need help that will make a difference!
Trump: “I only will when it will benefit my re-election!” or “puteee hasn’t ok’d it yet!”
Choice? *Vote Biden! Vote Democrat! Vote For American Democracy and Decency!”*

    1. No, it’s all the REDPublicans money. It all belongs to their political owners/donors who are trying to concentrate ALL OF IT not just the little bit that the top 3 people on that list that just happens to equal ALL the ASSETS of 1/2 of the rest of this countries taxpayers COMBINED. WE shouldn’t have ANY ASSETS. Why, if we have ANYTHING AT ALL then they CAN’T TRICKLE DOWN ON US

  10. I’d like to see any Republican Senator who thinks $600 a week is too much try and live on it. It wouldn’t even cover their lunches.

  11. As many bills, and the Heroes Act are sitting on McConnell’s desk. KY needs to vote Moscow Mitch out.

  12. The Pandemic itself is giving people the incentive to stay at home, not the extra $600 a week.
People need that money, and they need is ASAP!

    1. Sir, U are EXACTLY RIGHT! The Reps can’t think logically though and are Disgusting! All they do is lie and they don’t care. But u are so right and at least I know their are still logical smart ppl like yourself left in the world. 🙏🙂

    2. @Miss QueenyB Thank you, I appreciate the kind words 😊. It’s an absolute travesty that we’re still even discussing these incredibly urgent issues. It’s beyond belief that these Reps, so called “intelligent” people actually feel the need to have a debate over such an enormous and pressing situation. When in reality it’s a simple yes or no question asked by the Dems. There’s NO TIME to negotiate here, because people are hurting and suffering. The pain is real! And in this dire moment something needs to be resolved as of yesterday!!

  13. Why don’t they care if the president spends millions on golfing during the pandemic? While they have their lunches on our dime and deny us right before they go on a month long vacation..

  14. My argument is that’s frigging sad that most Americans wages are so low that most of us are at poverty level. An these guys are arguing about $600 extension….

    1. This speaks to the wage inequality that many people face everyday. Low wages are not compatible with today’s cost of living.
