    1. @Jenny Lemon Not my job. I’m not the CIC. Actually, private citizens are executing rescue operations in Afghanistan. That’s never happened before and illustrates the total lack of confidence in the current administration.

    2. @aurora_occidentalis To believe Iraq, Afghanistan and the entire destabilization of the oil-rich middle-east is not militarily “bungled up” is the height of denial. No wonder chaotic tragedies like this keep repeating – reported (by WikiLeaks) or just sugar-coated (like media sheeple)

    3. @aurora_occidentalis
Trump had no plan. He reduced troops to 2500 despite the Taliban ignoring the terms of the deal by refusing to cut ties with Al Qaeda, and his own secretary of defense said the plan to leave by May was a bluff.

  1. This guy is doing cleanup on isle 3 !! No matter what the mission is ,you unite as a country , if not its unamerican and pathetic !! Willie this is pathetic..seriously

    1. Looks like many Democrats are using the GOP playbook to make everything about themselves – to get attention.

  2. Truth. Had things been different, we would have never been in Afghanistan, where the Taliban had already held power.

    1. Fred, We had a mission in Afghanistan at first and something should have been done a great while ago!!!! However like Trump had said he was not going to play with the Talibans time-line and has a plan unlike Dementia Joe who is now and forever the face of Dementia and the Taliban!!!!!!

    2. We should have gone after Al Qaeda with targeted strikes and special forces. The only reason we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq was to blow stuff up which American companies could then come in and rebuild for huge profits just like American contractors made fortunes from rebuilding Kuwait after the first Gulf War.

  3. Congressman Moulton’s had very bad judgement when he decided to take this trip to Afghanistan ! He not only put himself at risk he more importantly put others at risk !! I am disappointed and he should be held accountable. Yes, congressman what would a good plan look like ??
I don’t believe that because you don’t have a plan that President Biden and his team don’t have a plan to get the most people out of the country.

    1. @Carol Ann You poor thing! You are obviously a victim of the republicons assault on the education system. No one will take you seriously until you go back to school and learn basic spelling and sentence structure. All righty then , bye bye now take care!

    2. Agree! Planning to withdraw U.S troops & allies is one thing. Would or could have been done a lot more swiftly. But we’re talking about withdrawing a whole country. How do you plan for that? How do you do that safely in a country full of turmoil? Sad 😞

    3. @allen sheehan, yes, his fake manner of speaking slowly, and trying to garner sympathy with inserting his acting emotionally disturbed, is annoying & repulsive.

    4. Did anyone else catch him saying he went to Washington because he felt betrayed by the Government when he was in Country & wanted to fix it?
Then when asked what his plan would be we discover he hasn’t got one. WTH?
Why are you there then? Fool.

    5. @Vynida Lopes sad fact can’t take all so end the end take what you can after all us people out get out

  4. Moulton’s hushed and dramatic way of speaking is annoying. Why does he think his observations are so much better than the people conducting the evacuation? His grandstanding detracted from their efforts.

    1. Didnt he and one other rep go to Afghanistan last week? Got almost everyone from diplomats and military angry for how moronic their trip was lol i bet this is a favor by morning joe to clear that mess

  5. It seems like people in the US don’t understand history has scope and scale.
What did the Trump administration do to plan for this withdrawal that Trump and Pompeo AGREED TO in May, 2020?
    NOTHING

  6. Despite the hand they were dealt… our troops exhibited incredible compassion and bravery. That’s the very definition of HEROES! Never to be unspoken, diminished or OVERUSED!

  7. I love how the media is holding these two as heroes… You diverted resources needed got the evacuation so you and your friend can have an inspirational moment in an active war zone. Shame on you.

    1. I can’t stand Mainstream media anymore FFS this is why I avoid it. I watch progressives these men and women love the wars and never complain about how much money is spent. Joy Reid is the only one I watch on MSNBC

  8. SHAME ON HIM HE HAD NO GOOD REASON TO PUT THE SERVICE MEN & WOMEN IN MORE DANGER! THIS WAS MERELY A STUNT. SO GET SOMEWHERE & SIT DOWN & SHUTUP!!!!

  9. Flip sake…this guy “hushed” must sound “sincere ” tones way of speaking like he is doing a bad impression of presidents he admires lol..wonder what his ambitions are…

“We”..maybe they haven’t told him the plan lol

  10. He went all the way there. Still he not only left w o his family. He got them in a camp. Harm done. Wonder what your friend says of you now Seth.

  12. Why is it we only here about how many people are left to get out. Every time they do that they should report the
96,000+ that are out…lets give some credit to what has been accomplished.

  13. Funny how he criticizes the government in Washington in which he is part of for not knowing and making unwise decisions. Then is asked what he would do and says, “ I don’t know. “. Also doesn’t mention that the Taliban offered to give up bin laden and also to surrender but Cheney refused both offers. I hope that the rest of the military left in Afghanistan are able to get out with no more incidents. Thank you for the remarkable job they are doing.

  14. We should never have been there to begin with, ask George W. Bush that question, it was his idea to start this war.
