When facing an opponent, using impartial logic and reason to make an argument, and asking if something crosses a threshold, it is impossible to judge unless that threshold has been previously defined. To do so, one must ask that if something ISN’T crossing the threshold, then what WOULD qualify it as having done so? If Trump and the GOPs actions don’t qualify, then I challenge any opponent to define what WOULD qualify and how is this different than what the Constitution states? What are the qualifiers? If we can clearly define the propositions leading to a conclusion, we can follow the logic to its conclusion objectively and without political prejudice when debated honestly. I challenge anybody to show me a logical reason as to why the current impeachment doesn’t clearly qualify given the terms and conditions stated clearly in the Constitution.
