    1. The Democrats count among their heroes a murderer (Ted Kennedy), a rapist (Bill Clinton), a confessed child molester (Lena Dunham), and a guy who gropes women in their sleep (Al Franken)–but there’s a “Republican war on women” because you have no ability to learn or comprehend.

  1. He’s learned he can take whatever corrupt or criminal action he wants and the corrupt criminal GOP will still defend him.

    1. @J Hitchcock in reference to your original post, I thought it was very apt. Trumps mother was probably like a cross between Melania (cold, distant, good looking) and Susan Collins.

    2. Its as if she’s maybe been there too ling and is just too old, like MOST SENATORS, to keep up with the pace of current events.

Or she was just a coward and thought the public was dumb enough that her weak statement would give her plausible deniability when Trump did what WE ALL KNEW HE WOULD DO.

She’s the dumb one here, though. Didn’t work.

    3. @J Hitchcock …Don’t feel the need to justify yourself to random internet trolls, I notice they do this to deflect from the subject of the post and then the discussion turns into bickering about something other than what the initial post it is about. Remember about 90% of Trump supporters in the comments are paid shills.

  2. THE LESSON?
” I NEED TO PASS THE BLAME FOR MY ACTIONS FASTER THAN I DO RIGHT NOW, AND HIRE MORE STOOGES THAT ARE WILLING TO GO TO PRISON FOR ME”

    1. Douglas Mayfield – Because he admitted the action, to which there was an abundance of evidence. He used two contradictory defenses – That he did it, but it was justified, AND that he didn’t do it at all. You can get away with that when your party refuses to hold a fair trial.

    2. @J Groovy please, instead of wanting me to believe you word. Actually give what he said. Context matters, believe it or not. Also, you say an abundance of evidence but give none lmao. Lastly, it’s not the Senates job to let the DNC get in more witnesses. Their job was to try the articles of impeachment, and the House’s job was to build the case, they House failed to build an adequate case and the Senate judged Trump Innocent of the charges he was accused of.

    3. @Douglas Mayfield What on Earth are you talking about? An article? A news outlet? All of them! Did you watch the trial? He argued 1- that there was a quid pro quo, but that it was justified as some corruption fighting effort, and 2- that there was no quid pro quo. Furthermore, he argued that it was his duty to investigate Biden, who might become president, but that Obama did it to him (false), and that was “treason”.

    4. @Andreas karlsson That’s the Republican mantra, “No evidence!” no matter how much is right in front them. Of course, when it comes to investigating Dems, baseless suspicion is slam-dunk evidence, and anything a Dem does is treason punishable by death. You’d think they would have heard that old saying about living in glass houses and throwing stones.

    5. @Douglas Mayfield You show your ignorance by saying “the DNC”. It was the prosecution, lead by Democrats in Congress. It is absolutely the job of the Senate to call relevant witnesses in a trial. That is a nonsensical false talking point.

    1. @Dylan Mattox guess both D and R are full of racist. Neither was created for African Americans. Think about that before you post about who created the Klan.

    2. @Dennis Manson you wouldn’t know a fact if it SLAPPED you upside your libtard dumbascrap baby killing LOSER head.
      NOW THAT’S A FACT FOR YA🤣

    3. Yes. That is how a political party operates. It is called politics. Take some losses to get some wins.
Something the democrats have forgotten. Which is why the party is dying. Not accepting losses for what they are to get constitutes wins.

  3. And so it goes again…seems like every other day someone is saying “I’ve never seen, let alone heard of anything like this…”

  4. Why even ask a question like that when we already know the answer. Just takes up space in the news cycle, which is great mode Trump, bad for our collective psyches

    1. It was important to get his response on record. What the orange dotard doesn’t understand is he is always on the record and can’t be edited

    1. Reading the comments its obvious your all Democrat, DNC and CNN human LAB RATS.
Ding, Bombshell – repeat after me. I AM A LAB RAT. SO FUNNY TO AMERICA

    2. Can;t get away with something that drunk Pelosi, and lying Shiff made up, sooooo, your point?, this is why I left the DEMOCRATIC PARTY…………….SMFH

  5. My Senator Susan Collins sure taught him to break every rule in the book in full sunshine. No consequences, no guardrails, no pushback. Full stop.
