  1. So since I “identify” as bisexual, can I sue my employer or government to provide benefits or subsidies to my 2 husbands and 3 wives?

    1. @Free Man So is the practice of removing the foreskin from non-consenting infants, but let’s mutilate genitals in the name someone else’s god!

But hey! Your “point” has NOTHING to do with the right to marriage, you probably made up that scenario, and you really have no leg to stand on.

I never said I agreed with circumcision but your faith won’t allow you to see beyond your religious indoctrination and view things objectively.

You claim I “made up” a scenario in which a confused 15 year old girl had a double mastectomy without her consent because if you acknowledge it then you’d have to acknowledge how psychopathic transgender ideology is, especially to kids.

    4. @Donn Mckee Wouldn’t the “trolls” be those, like yourself, which do nothing but TROLL other’s comments to distract, rather than offer your own arguments, or counter-challenge others? DUH!

  2. Does the gay/lesbian community in SF realize that your representative waited till the end of her career to do this?
Is this someone who really cared about you all this time????

  3. I believe everyone should have the right to be equally miserable as long as no one has any more benefits than the other.

  4. There was no need for this bill to be law. Okay, so Justice Thomas teased the idea of overturning it, that doesn’t automatically mean the supreme court would’ve likely done it. And if they did, so what? Marriage isn’t even a human right to begin with.

    1. No. This just means that if the Supreme Court was to overturn obergafell which made same sex marriage legal in all 50 states that a marriage performed in a state where it’s legal must be recognized in all states.

There’s nothing for you to “unpack”. It’s all been laid out. You can’t point to any scientific researchers or long term studies that confirm that transgenderism is, like you kids say, “a thing”.

You won’t take the time to refute it because you can’t without just reciting a bunch of opinions of activists you’ve heard.

    2. @danomyte
“You’re crazy” is the desperate cry of someone with no argument to make and no facts to back it up.

  5. “The Prophet said: ‘If you find anyone doing as Lot’s people did, kill the one who does it, and the one to whom it is done’.”

  6. You see, I just happen to be trans and we all know even though my soul and now even my body (thank the Universe for GRS gender reassignment) and birth certificate all reflect that i am a female, that republicans will never see me for who i am. So imagine i lived in a state who eventually tries to ban same sex marriages, they see me as the same sex as the person i would be marrying so i could be greatly affected by that.

One of the best feelings and most personally liberating things that I’ve ever done was to wrap my arms around and just chill and watch a movie with my boyfriend, such a simple act but for me, it was the first time in my life feeling the correct dynamic between female and male. To embrace my femininity and learn what it means to be a woman (thanks for all you have taught me momma) was nothing short of life changing. My soul is at peace and i want nothing more than to have a family of my own, a family i can cook for and take care of their needs while also persuing my small business i own. A chance to adopt a child who needs a loving home or accept my partners children as my own from then on and forever. I tell you these things so that someone who doesnt know a trans person can see that we are just normal people who have families and love and work and do all the normal things in life. We arent what Republicans lie and say we are. And that makes it even more dangerous for us.

    Humans.

  7. Glad at least SOME in my party could at least agree on this. It’s sad how divided we are just because of who’s in the white house. If this was a Republican bill they would’ve all voted yes, even with all the same details. We need an independent president so we don’t always fight the administration, like the GOP voting no on everything under Biden, or the Dems voting no on everything under Trump. An independent POTUS and VP is what a multi-party country needs the most. It’ll also fix the media bias cycle of happy for 4 years, hateful for 4 years, rinse and repeat. We finally have decades to look back on and see this cycle, this swing from both sides, and an independent POTUS would keep both sides more honest because the POTUS wouldn’t automatically be good/protected or bad/attacked.

  8. The US census, at most, counts about 1.5% of households are of the same sex. I’m not losing sleep over a minuscule number like that. Actually, I have better things to worry about, this is at the bottom.

  9. Ephesians 5:31-32 states: “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one”.
A wife, by definition, is female. Per Mirriam-Webster, “female partner in a marriage”
