John Lewis – the son of a poor Alabama sharecropper – rises from the era of Jim Crow laws, segregated lunch counters and the KKK (Yes, it WAS a Democratic organization!) – to one of the highest offices in the land!!!! And his story is not unusual!!!!
Once beaten by state troopers and arrested 40 times – he now lies in state in the nation’s capitol and is revered!!!!!
This could not have happened in any other country!!!!!
This had to be one of the smelliest funerals of all time. My God!
