Before Jamaica engages in its normal knee-jerk response; which usually is the result of politicians interjecting this kind of response as a distraction from those same politicians’ ineptitudes, I suggest that Jamaica focus on how to move the nation from this state of madness. The country is in a race to the bottom because of the vast social inequalities that can be witnessed at every turn. There is a common thread that runs through the entire fabric of mayhem and madness going on daily in Jamaica: A thread of hopelessness, inequality, oppression, and prejudice. It permeates everything!
Before the blood in this cold-blooded murder has dried, someone else will be killed in cold blood, somewhere in – Jamaica.
It is full time Jamaica move beyond fast track stars, jerk chicken, and dance-hall. It is time we care about our people.
No one willing to step forward
That is the solution to these horrible murders.
I truly believed that most of these people who are against the death penalty would love to see it happen, but they are just appeasing others by being against it. Congratulations. Sympathy for criminals as they killed innocent, law abiding, productive, decent, and hard working people. Murderers love you. They can have a good night’s rest while the rest of the people live in fear.
Capital punishment is Biblical. Jamaica MUST implement it in order to control this crime.
