Risky Russian Deal A Tough Choice For Kentucky In Economic Need | Rachel Maddow | MSNBC 1

Tom Hamburger, political investigations reporter for the Washington Post, talks with Rachel Maddow about Mitch McConnell's outrage at the "Moscow Mitch" nickname leveled at him in part because of a Russian business deal in Kentucky that coincided with McConnell's role in the lifting of particular Russian sanctions, and the mixed emotions about the deal in Kentucky.

  1. Republicans proved they will do anything for money .they even sold out America for money and power to putin.

    • @Purple Flame Tarot – Much like their lying leader. ๐Ÿ™„
      ‘Schrodinger’s #45: Criminal *and* cretinous, simultaneously’… ๐Ÿ˜น

    • Why would Saudis, China and Israel own and influence all of the US? In a free market economy, can’t Russia buy a share? What’s this, discrimination?

Maybe we all should ask the Republican Party how those Thirty Pieces of Silver feel? Maybe we should ask them how much more of the American Spirit and Soul the Republican Party is willing to sell in order to keep their power and their vote?

      Greed…Greed never changes…

    • @Adam Rest Ahaha, you made my day.

    • @CptCodpiece I just call it like it is. Read comments under this video. If the same things were said about Israel, half of the commenting accounts would be blocked. Don’t believe me? Try it lol

  2. This is obviously a plan by Putin to make McConnell more dependant on Russian investment for his political survival. Now Moscow Mitch has to deliver on an ongoing basis for the Kremlin.

Did Putin put the Adam’s Apple on Transvestite “Rachel” or is this a Russian mind control implant? I think I’d go with – Adam’s Apple. The Travesty of Fake News is best delivered by a Transvestite.

  5. Why not an American compny? russians’ bribes are more valuable to MM.

    • Because coal is kaput. That is all they had going for them. Now Mitch is selling his soul to stay in office. Moscow Mitch is too kind an epithet.

Folks ignore the trolls it’s time we quit playing Puty and his lackeys game register and vote, thank you.

    • @Ash Roskell yes on dumping putin and his comrades/playmates/trolls/bots/shills. but please don’t put the whole state down because of moscow mitch. we have a hard enough battle ahead of us getting that entrenched traitor out of office. some emotional support would be great but not expected. just don’t dump on us please, we are trying to remove the russian red stain. he has very little support from Kentuckians but i suspect russia will help him as well as traitor trump next year.

@mary jones little support in Kentucky, you must be smoking something

    • Russophobia strong in this one

    • *No one* blames the Russian people for having an ill-willed oligarch *running their country* into the ground, tingle… ๐Ÿคจ

  7. The Grim Reaper has turned into the Grim Weeper.๐Ÿ˜ญ
McConnell should simply own his new title as Moscow Mitch, he has earned it. And America doesn’t like calling him Moscow Mitch, we only call him Moscow Mitch because that’s what he has chosen to be. He had a simple choice between America and Russia, he chose Russia.

  8. Tessmage Tessera | August 15, 2019 at 2:56 AM | Reply

*Thanks to Mitch McConnell, Kentucky is now the 7th poorest state in America.* Kentucky accepts more welfare and food stamps _per capita_ than California does. Mitch gets richer — while Kentucky gets poorer. It’s time to vote Moscow Mitch out of office.

    • @Tessmage Tessera As we noted before…
“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire. And *where* there’s fire…you might just find *Russian-made* matches.” ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ”ฅ

@CynAnne1 Yup and I was just talking to one of them. No content on his channel, no subscribers, no nothing. Typical Russkie troll and very easy to shoot down.

    • @Trumprules Clintondrools The homeless are Americans, many vets. We California take care of homeless and the welfare recipients of Kentucky.

    • Buttercup Horn | August 15, 2019 at 10:11 AM | Reply

Trumprules Clintondrools So because one place has a coast line and the other doesnโ€™t, thatโ€™s your logic? The weather is better? Really? Have you forgotten all the fires they have? How about all the pollution? A friend moved back to where he grew up because of the fires and smog he faced daily in California.

You mean people in Kentucky have the sane standard of living like the Russian people ? ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿฑโ€๐Ÿ‘ค

  9. So those tariffs on aluminum now make perfect sense. Instead of importing it, build a Russian plant. Vote these clowns into office again and prepare for bread lines, those jobs won’t be union and the wages will be designed to keep Kentucky poor.

    • it has been reported already that the good-paying jobs won’t be given to Kentuckians, only the crud work ones. they carry a high risk of injury, increased rates of cancer, and of alzheimers. it won’t be just the workers either. russians aren’t known for their concern for the environment or human beings. this will leach into the soil and groundwater, contaminating everything around the plant.

    • @mary jones – Meaning…
      ‘Moscow *wins* again’. ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ˜’๐Ÿ‘Ž

  10. Moscow Mitch betraying his country!

  11. ahhh and the truth finally comes out Moscow Mitch is in bussiness with the russian mafia #disgraceful

So McConnell get’s a paycheck from Moscow…that’s bad…well Who do you think has been financing Trump for the last 10 or more years…I think that’s bad too !!! By the way…McConnell’s wife is tied to that Russian company !!!

    • MisterArchangel73521 – What do Russia *and* China have in common *besides Communism* …? ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ’‹๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ณ
‘Moscow’ Mitch McConnell… *and* his wife. ๐Ÿค”

  13. Is there any doubt whatsoever now that McConnell completely, 100% deserves the moniker “Moscow Mitch”?

  14. Investigate Mitch’s wife connection to the Chinese shipping industry.

  15. Moscow Mitch is a red traitor two times over.

  16. Robert Rodgers | August 15, 2019 at 4:11 AM | Reply

Moscow Mitch for PRISON! He is a TRAITOR who deserves to rot in prison for the rest of his satanic life!
