  1. She was a fantastic comedy style actor and IMO made Cheers even better when she joined the team. RIP Miss Howe. 🙁

  2. I remember the scene in the movie Loverboy, when she walked into view for the first time, the men in the theater literally gasped and cheered. Thats how gorgeous she was. She also had a wicked sense of humor. Honest, beautiful and very talented. Rest in peace Kirstie Alley.

  3. My favorite role she played was in Drop Dead Gorgeous, where she played Gladys Leeman, alongside Denise Richards, Kirsten Dunst, Ellen Barkin, Allison Janey, and Mindy Sterling alongside many other hilarious actors.

Drop Dead Gorgeous was such a hysterically funny cult film, honestly they rapid fire jokes at you so much you’ll be laughing with tears in your eyes. A mocumentary on a beauty pageant is comedy gold!

I had the pleasure of meeting her on one of her films in Vancouver many many years ago, and though she had to rely on cue cards for a few of her lines, she was still friendly and professional, always on time and always had a smile on her face.

  4. gosh, I loved her as an actress. this is just a shock, it seems like cancer is getting most people these days

  5. Nice job, CNN. This was a very kind memorial to a far right actress with unusual religious beliefs. She was an amazing, beautiful, funny lady that had to struggled with life and unkind people.

  6. Those eyes!💚💐 I remember being so captivated by her beauty the very first time I ever saw her in a 1984 movie with Tom Selleck called Runaway.
LOVED her In Madhouse (1990) and in For Richer or Poorer (1997). Absolutely hilarious in them.
Thank you for your work and all the laughter from your films. May you rest in peace.🕯️🌹

  7. Ah, man, this is terrible news! I’m so sorry to hear this! RIP Alley, you are loved, and you will be missed!
