@James Karr – Obama. In 2012 some polls showed Romney was slightly favored to win. I heard a lot of media scrutiny about his wealth and not understanding ‘real’ people, along with people trying to throw in mentions of too strong of a religious philosophy (mormon), where as Obama was running on the outsider, fresh new era thing. This is just my opinion. Romney also ran 2008, and stepped aside for McCain/Palin, so he was viewed as a top contender for GOP in 2012.
