Well granny always said who can’t hear will feel. Covid-19 is a reality that we have to live with for a long while. So continue ignoring the protocols people and face the consequences that follow.

@Eric Watson the election is due next year, but the opposite wanted this election to go on, they were the one who press for it, besides that, this virus will be here for awhile, what guarantee you have that next year the virus will be better for an election to take place? Man make haste while the sun shines. As I said before we all need to adhere to the protocols outlined by the Health minister, we were doing the right thing why being careless now? The flu season is near and that means the virus will be easier to catch.

So the 98 was from over the holiday . We haven’t seen the ones who prob got infected from the activities on nomination day yet.

Lol. We not gonna learn and start taking things seriously unless people start dropping dead in great numbers .

    Sad .

Just count 14 days from nomination day and wait n see

    • This is madness we should be calling on God almighty to forgive us of our sinful and wicked ways and beg him to protect us and cover us his people from this pandemic instead we talking about election. Mr prime minister power is important to you than the nation. Shame on you.

    • Lock down the borders and protect your country. Craving for money and the country is going down because of carelessness. You people who say you’re government need to seek God and ask him to lead them in the way to lead this little island. You all need God’s intervention.

I want to know how school is gonna reopen, don’t let people waste money they don’t have to buy up back to school and then it not happening

  10. The election can be postponed….!!!

  11. I think if the water problem in the inner-city communities are fixed that would be of great help in the fight against covid-19

  12. Vads Thompson | August 21, 2020 at 4:40 PM | Reply

Yep! Those who cant hear must feel! Some Jamaicans have a down care attitude!!!

  13. Jasmine Samuels | August 21, 2020 at 4:45 PM | Reply

You all no see nothing yet wait until the election finishes then you will see coved 19.

  14. MANY HAVE THE VIRUS AND HIDING IT. THAT ANOTHER PROBLEM

Jamaica people always make Politican use them.. When jamaica people them ago have sense kmt

  16. The Airport need to be closed immediately I don’t know why Mr Holness open it from the beginning. Tourist or no tourist the country will survive without them I rather suffer from hungry than die from COVID.
I don’t think I will send back my kids to school until it is safe maybe that will be next year home schooling is Ok for me right now.

    • @Bruhmane Matthews i agree 300% plus jamaican must talk care of themselves too. But head bad so the tail can’t good.

    • @M Evans so true

    • Brightsbling Lewis | August 23, 2020 at 1:40 PM | Reply

      Too craven..look how quick them open..n c yah now…No space in hospital…

    • You know what I realized with some of us Jamaicans we are very foreign minded telling our self we can’t do without the UK, China, US, etc. Jamaicans can build Jamaica we just have to put aside our “crab in a barrel” mentality and get rid of the corrupted politicians this is the 2 major thing that is holding back Jamaica.
YES we need to comply with the safety measures to prevent the numbers from rising but we need to close the Airport so we can minimize the risk of spreading the virus inside and outside of the country. Not because the virus is here we must just open up the country to the world (hell no) the government need to focus on health first then they can get back to wealth life is more important.

In My Opinion I Feel This Virus Outbreak As Something To Do With The ONE WORLD ORDER People Open Your Eyes An Be Very Cautious Please Be Careful And Keep Safe Because All Of This Was Plan Whether You Want To Believe It Or Not.
      BLESSED LOVE

    • @Dawn Nolan Jamaica is a island and the only way covid could have got there is for a traveler coming to the country the borders should have been closed from the get go to keep it out.
( the main cause was person was still coming in the country)

The government is power hungry and foolish There should be no gathering and no election. Foolish people.

Watch what ago happened two weeks from now after the nomination day.

  19. The billions of dollars that r missing could build place to host the patient

  20. Wow!! Those people prefer to risk getting covid19 for the love of their political party who don’t care one iota about them. What will happen when they all contract that virus?
