  1. I remember seeing Pootin’s big parade back in May and commenting, “What a glorious display of 20th Century technology!”…

    1. @Big Earl See this argument is already descending into a Ralph Kramden rave. “They know that I know that they know that I know”? The thing is, the stuff they reveal to us, publicly is just the tip of the iceberg on what they have and what they can do! And it’s not revealed to the likes of you and me. So I think it’s pointless to speculate that far. As least for me.

    2. Hypocrite! Go buy Russian oils when Russia is still kind enough to not let you freeze to death! 🥶 UK seems got their sense back by buying it in huge amounts 🤣

    3. @Raiden Shogun I know, it’s so ridiculous that it’s true. It reminds me of the Moskva under the sea with an accident during this war

  2. Never underestimate the human will to survive no matter what. Every Ukrainian who remains in Ukraine is resigned to that outcome. It’s going to take a lot more than freezing temperatures to break that will.

    1. So far, the only people in the US government who want to end support are the insane far right wingers. These are the same people who believe in Q’anon, like Marjorie Taylor Greene. It is embarrassing to have them representing us. But without gerrymandering, they can’t win fairly. The people are ending their BS here slowly but surely.

  3. When a bully runs into someone who stands up to them and beats them in a fair fight, they have to start looking for weaker people to pick on. War crimes or not, the Russian bully is doing just that.

    1. @moya kiska I’m going to assume that you were trying to say something you thought was clever, and didn’t realize that you said something INCREDIBLY racist instead?

    2. Ukraine is destroyed totally now. I think its time to compromise. When you are in a hole already its time to stop digging

  4. I am writing from Kiev. Thank you very much to all concerned people for your support and help to us. Yes, now the electricity is gone for a long time, as well as the Internet, as well as heat in homes, and our children cannot even study online because of this. But all of us Ukrainians are only becoming more united and strong, no matter how much we are bombed or tried to destroy. It’s a shame we’re not given offensive weapons, haven’t been for 9 months now, so we can liberate, take back our land taken by the orcs, to our borders. And while they don’t give us weapons, we Ukrainians are simply shot by Iranian kamikaze drones and missiles, killing civilians, destroying our cities, depriving us of light, heat, water. And this is today in our enlightened age. And the world keeps silent and watches and is afraid to recognize Russia as a terrorist state and to admit that they are now committing genocide against the Ukrainian people.

    1. @trisha wilson
It was until 1999 and illegal aggression of US and NATO. And even today according to UN resolution 1244 Kosovo is part of Serbia.

    2. @trisha wilson This is true..and I guess the poster you’re responding to is just gonna ignore that those bombings came in response to an attempted ethnic cleansing/genocide of the Albanians.

And that was real, unlike the manufactured genocide attempt the Kremlin’s paid liars in their propaganda machine are pushing today.

  5. “War crimes on an hourly basis” War crimes is a pointless concept if there’s no personal consequences or punishment.

    1. @Phil Stanton Yes, I’m sure they’re very eager to share their ongoing investigation into war crimes (which was launched months ago now, by the way) with some guy named Phil on YouTube.

    2. That actually true, but do not think russia will be able to escape the consequenses. Russian population will have to pay repair cost and compensation for many generations in the future.

I believe Germany had to pay compensations in 4 or 5 decades. But russia ain’t germany. They will have to sell a lot of Lada’s in the future.

  6. “The skillful leader brings his adversary to the battle. He is never brought by his adversary to the battle”.
    Sun Tzu

When dealing with a narcissistic bully. They always have to project themselves with strength. Such as how Russia is bombing Ukraine in this war. Therefore, you can NEVER back down. Because they will consider any form of negotiation as a sign of weakness.

    1. Russian (Putin), new quite well with the battlefield issues they are failed, they are looking for negotiation , so target is the civilian, that’s way of fighting war, and whole world has understand that and understand Putin, Ukraine soldiers are hero above the Russian soldiers.

  7. I just have to laugh at those people who think Russia is a “superpower”. In my view, to be a superpower you have to rank in the top 3 in at least two of the following categories: population, economy, and military. Russia is #11 in population, #18 in economy, and militarily well they just got their butts kicked by a country that is only like the #40 largest military in the world. Costa Rica is more of a “superpower” than Russia.

  8. These two gentlemen are so right. The best way to end the war is to show unity and strength. Not looking for compromise.

    1. Any compromise with Putin will be a waste of time anyway. Remember, when Boris Yeltsin was president (and Putin was his right hand man), Russia and Chechnya signed a peace agreement after a brutal conflict and Russia determining that they weren’t going to back down. Putin came into power and immediately spit on the agreement, attacking them again, even worse than the first time. The only thing Putin understands is strength. For people like him, words like “negotiate” and “compromise” are simply seen as signs of being weak. Honestly, the sooner he’s dead, the sooner the world will be a better place!

    2. @Sebastian G provide an example of these negotiations….. say, you from the russian side… what do you want?

    3. @Sebastian G Therr are many things to negotiate. How to de-mine UA. How to pay reparations to UA. How to handle war criminals. How to start be re-integrated into the world.

    4. LoL.
I really don’t understand how the US media is so powerful. How can you convince an adult normal person that the best way for peace is for the war to last as long as possible? I cannot understand that level of brainwashing.

  9. The rebuilding of Ukraine is not “incalculable.” The Center for Strategic International Studies calculated it at around $40 billion per week at the height of the Mariupol campaign months ago. While such a large-scale depopulation effort has not happened since, it would be reasonable to assume that might be coming for Kherson if Russia can sustain such a thing, which is highly doubtful since they are now buying ordnance from DPRK and Iran.

  10. The headline was clear from month 2 of this disastrous invasion. It will take more than one cold winter for these brave Ukrainian people to capitulate. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦💪🇺🇦

  11. For the record the Cuban Missile crisis ended in a compromise, although this wasn’t reported in American media until many years later. The US agreed to remove their missiles from turkey and not invade Cuba. The USSR agreed to remove missiles from Cuba, so technically the USSR got what they wanted. Missiles out of their backyard and a assurance not to attack an ally. Russia also made an agreement not to attack Ukraine but Putin didn’t abide by that agreement because of his hubris which is unfortunately for both Ukraine and Russia.

  12. Let us be clear in regard to the Russian/Ukrainian war: The relationship between Russia and Ukraine became, in the time of the Soviet Union, a marriage of convenience not of love. When the USSR broke up, in a time of weakness the ruling elites of both nations put up with each other. But when Russia became stronger and a divorce became inevitable, Russia did not want to split the house and the kids so now to forcibly settle the issue its way, it terrorizes the wife and her kids and makes their lives unbearable and even desires to kill her and her kids. This is the mindset of the Russian elite and for this reason they are now treating Ukrainians like rats, taking away from them the necessities of life.

My strong wish is that the Russian population will not support their elite in these awful crimes and will find the courage to oppose those that have brought so much suffering to the Ukrainian population and to a lesser extent the Russian population as well. Russia could live very well without any of the acquired Ukrainian territories. The greater weapon needed right now is against a prideful and hateful Russian elite and the portion of the population that supports them. This weapon can only come from Russian people of common sense, Russian people of integrity, and Russian people who truly love God who with courage show their opposition to the Russian elite who has misled them. Many of the Russian media members should be ashamed of the statements they have allowed themselves to make and repeat. In their conversations they have put God aside and for this cause they have become foolish.
